I had never set foot in this Opticians before but my glasses needed a new nose pad as one had broken and i had lost it. The lovely lady gladly fitted 2 new nose pads and did not charge me a lot for them. Specsavers could not fit the particular nose pads i required so...' should have gone to Specsavers ? '.....no, not for me.

Excellent, professional and friendly service from both the optician and staff. My first time here to get glasses and had the full service from eye-test to purchasing 2 pairs of reasonably priced spectacles. I am down for an annual test and am very happy to be on their books. Better than other places I have been to in the past.

It's not often I write reviews, however, after receiving such excellent care and service at Specs Direct, I wanted to share my thoughts and recommendations with a wider audience. Specs direct was recommended to me by a neighbour, and I'm so glad I chose them. I have a very problematic left eye and have visited a high street optician that 'I definitely should not have gone to!' on a few occasions. Not once did they suggest that I needed to correct my left eye long distance vision. The optician was very thorough during my eye test, and only three days later I had two pairs of glasses (at a very reasonable price). It wasn't until I got my new glasses that I realised how much I'd been struggling. For the first time in years I can actually see properly to use my computer and in the far distance. I have already recommended to family and friends. All round a great experience, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Very friendly staff, more of a personal touch compared to the larger chains o would usually visit at Merryhill Centre. Conveniently located, easy to park free for 2 hours just near by. The optician is fantastic with children, and makes them feel at ease.

Have been many times for myself, they were amazing when I had an emergency detached retina and have looked after me ever since, I've taken the kids for eye tests and they are great with them. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The best opticians locally.

Very nice worth a visit.
