Informed the swan sanctuary of a cygnet caught in fishing netting in the middle of a lake and someone came to the rescue within an hour or so in his kayak. Well done Swan Sanctuary!

Took down a very young duckling that had been taken to the pet shop where my daughter works, it was apparently found clearly alone and distressed and as it was getting late the people who found it were concerned for it's safety, after keeping it warm comfortable overnight I rang the Sanctuary after a recommendation from a local rescue, the call was answered immediately, after a brief explanation I was told of course bring him down" being only 30 minutes away we arrived at a secure gate and a beautiful site of swans

My partner was aggressively shouted at by a woman working for the Swan Sanctuary on the foreshore in Limehouse yesterday while he was having a peaceful, sunset walk with our neighbour's dog. When he challenged her rudeness, she started to throw belittling insults at him rather than apologise or have a civil conversation. My partner phoned the Swan Sanctuary today to complain about this member of staff but he was met with equal rudeness from the staff member on the phone, who mocked him and did not take the complaint seriously . He also heard people in the office laughing at him in the background. Terrible behaviour from the people working from this charity. They truly need to change their attitude and learn some communication skills.Addition after response:The fact that you have to make up lies to defend your actions rather than apologise just says it all. I’d love to see this video of the dog ‘running amock.’ The dog he was looking after lives on a boat and is not interested in ducks at all. Sometimes we have ducks nesting on the pontoon and he just walked past them, uninterested. The only thing he is interested when on the foreshore is looking for bones which is exactly what he was doing at this time - nowhere near the swans! The mocking behaviour of your staff on the telephone was unacceptable when someone is calling for support and it just reinforces the bad review which I have now downgraded to 0 stars.

Called as a Swan had been attacked by 2 other swans & within an hour & a bit, a lovely lady turned up & caught it & took it away for the night to observe it. She messaged me next day to update me & even sent a video of her releasing the Swan about a mile up river onto a lake. Such a wonderful service!

Fantastic: I turned up late and stressed with a heron and an egret. The 2 cages were ready for the birds and the atmosphere was calm and peaceful. Very grateful for all the help I received. It was a long journey but well worth it when you know the Sanctuary will take the best care possible of the birds.

I needed 7 ducklings to be rescued from my apartment. The swan sanctuary did an amazing job and left the duckies at a beautiful spot where they will live a beautiful life. A big thank you to them. I cannot wait to visit your facility when it's open to public. Keep up the great work!

AFTER VIOLENTLY CHASING THE DUCKS AND THE DUCKLINGS AROUND IN A VERY UNPROFESSIONAL MANNER around the premises, and Instead of helping to escort the ducklings and their mother to Richmond park, THEY SEPARATED THE DUCKLINGS FROM ITS DISTRESSED MOTHER TRYING TO DESPRATELY PROTECT THEIR YOUNG, AND SAID THAT SHE WAS TAKING THEM TO THE SANCTUARY? And now the ducks have come back looking for their brood. GIVE IT BACK. There were many many ways of handling this situation but the swan sanctuary is an absolute joke !!! Do not ever call them. Awful unhelpful people.

The Swan Sanctuary
An outstanding place where rescued and injured birds are treated like family members, with all the love and care and attention one could only dream of. I fostered five beautiful baby ducklings for four weeks of pure joy, and was then fortunate enough to learn about The Swan Sanctuary where Steve and Sally work with an incredible team of loving and highly motivated volunteers to give rescued and injured birds a beautiful life. Thank you so much, The Swan Sanctuary. You are amazing.
