Thank you so much Dr Hannah! My mum has had infections after surgery on an abscess for nearly 5 months. Going through constant pain and unable to have her hernia operation therefore taking longer and longer. The dentist also refused to work on my mum's teeth due to this persistent infection. So many courses of antibiotics later, Dr Hanna swabbed the infection to identify the cultures and then target the infection with specific antibiotics! After a week my mum feels so much better. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Xx

How extremely unprofessional of a doctors surgery. Had a broken leg for 4 months, struggled to even get in contact with a doctor. When I asked for an appointment I was given a telephone consultation with a pharmacist who had no idea what any of my treatment was. I’m struggling to get basic dressings and medication for my leg frame, which I have to replace every week and almost out of. I know family and friends who’ve had similar issues with the practice.

I have managed to get through on the phone within 5 minutes at 8.00am this morning. I managed to get an appointment straight away, I was impressed.I have been into the surgery recently and noticed there are many new staff members.The new building is impressive and very welcoming.The staff are always helpful and do go out of the way.Happy Patient

Absolutely shocking surgery. I would give zero stars if that was an option. The list of their failures are too many to mention here, but needless to say, I will be making very formal, very public complaints about this practice in the coming months.My dad is terminally ill and is dying at home. We have been waiting now since Tuesday for a necessary prescription for him which the cancer nurses prescribed. Every day we have called for them to tell us that first that they didn’t have the prescription, then they did have the prescription but they don’t have any drivers.When I called again yesterday, the third day, they again told me they didn’t have any drivers. When I asked how they can possibly run a pharmacy without any drivers, he said they did have them but they were all busy. I told him, yet again, that my dad is literally dying and in his final days and needs this prescription— and again he said they didn’t have a driver. When I told him that I would make a complaint he said “alright then I’ll make sure the driver comes down”.Nobody came down at all with this prescription and it’s quite obvious that he was just fobbing me off and had absolutely no intention of sending it down. It is hugely insulting, even on a basic human kindness level, that they wouldn’t make sure to send this prescription- even if it meant ten minutes extra work. I can’t fathom how a dying man wouldn’t be on a priority list for home delivery prescription- there’s something very wrong with this.This pharmacy should not be in operation. This is just one story from many of us constantly having to chase his medication - never being sure that it’s going to arrive, always having to phone back again. They’re making these last days of caring for my dad very stressful, at what is already an extremely stressful and difficult time.I will be finding the appropriate channels to write a lengthy and formal complaint and will make sure that something is done to investigate this outfit.

This practice booked me in for an outpatients appointment by contacting my own doctors surgery as they had zero care. The staff were all so caring and helped me loads. The doctor who saw me was amazing and took his time listening and found out the cause for my illness. I found this doctors surgery so welcoming and caring. Thank you and i deffinatly reccomend

We have been registered with Ashwell Medical centre for just over a year now & the service & quality of care has been amazing. We are always able to get an appointment, the receptionist/ doctors always call & check afterwards to see how we are doing & all the tests & referrals are done promptly. The doctors & staff go above & beyond in the care of the patients. Very rarely do you hear the words ' I got a call from the surgery with an update & follow up' but this all applies to Ashwell. The team are friendly, caring, polite & the service is amazing. I wish we had registered with them sooner

This surgery was good at one point about 17 years ago but now is very unpoffesional u call in for a oppointment starting from 8 in the morning nobody answers your call until 2 hours later and then if they dont answer they keep cutting off your call this surgery is the worst and should be closed dowt

Simply a big thank you to dr hussain i have been seen to by him for many many years has always got to the bottom off my issues has never failed my medical attension i dont want to be seen by any other doctor other then him when ever i need medical attension my mum says the same i wish everyone was as good at ther job as him once again a big thank you we are greatful to have you. You are truly a blessing.

Most of my family are with Ashwell medical centre and have been for many years. From my experience, I think over the years Ashwell medical centre has improved. More often than not, I have been able to get a same day appointment to see a Doctor, when a call is made early in the morning around 8am. They have also adapted well with the growing demand on the centre by offering appointments late in the evening. Prescription requests are also dealt with in a timely manner. Recently the centre has been extended and refurbished, it looks very modern.I have had a positive experience with all the Doctors at Ashwell medical centre.
