Yorkshire Born and Bread

Excellent bakery. Liz and the team made our wedding cake and we couldn’t have been more pleased. It was beautiful and absolutely delicious!

I was diagnosed with a wheat allergy 9 years ago and since then have been subjected to too many variations of gf bread - all of which are pretty much awful. I tried the spelt and honey bread from Yorkshire Born and Bread with some trepidation, as I know I can tolerate some spelt but wasn't sure if a slice of bread might be too much for my system to cope with. I am so very pleased that there was no negative reaction and for the first time in 9 years enjoyed proper, fluffy, textured, tasty bread. Just amazing!Only issue is, I live in Somerset and the spelt bread from my local bakery is like a brick and I don't think I can justify a 13 hour round trip each week....

Happened to stop by while visiting the Harrowgate area. The woman working was very cheerful and helpful and made some wonderful recommendations. The locally sourced quiche was DELICIOUS!

This establishment was excellent at catering to our request for scones. I had been informed in a previous visit they didn't provide the cream and jam, however when my husband went back here, they made it their business to make us some lovely cheese free scones with fresh cream and jam, that we collected another day. It was absolutely delicious and their care for their customers went beyond good. I totally recommend this bakers.

Lovely fresh bakes from this bakery. We treated ourselves to their french baguette which was superb and cakes treats. Well worth a trip :)

Nice selection of cakes and savory items. Tiffen was amazing. Small selection of vegan products also available.

I have been a fan of this local store, but today they have just gone up another level, the cherry turn over thing was just to die for, it was just perfect. A very big well done to you all.

Absolutely delicious food….the Carrot and walnut cake was the best I’ve ever tasted…well worth the drive from Doncaster…we will be back!!!

Wow! What an amazing cake and bread shop we visited in Pateley Bridge today. We bought Yorkshire cake bakes and in particular mince pies with the most original topping and amazing pastry base, so amazing I just had to go back for more. The lovely lady that served me makes the cakes herself. I will certainly be back for more when we visit the area. Oh nearly forgot to mention what reasonable prices too. Hasta la vista.
