Quest Photography

Yesterday, I had the great pleasure of meeting Martin Strivens, a very kind and talented photographer. We drove up to see him in the morning and spent a few hours in his amazing studio where he taught me so much about studio photography.Using my mum as a model (her picture is shown on the cover), we tried lots of different lighting styles to really set the mood. He was so passionate about his artwork and had so much knowledge to share. I used to hate the idea of taking photos of humans in case they came out badly and they got upset, but Martin has given me the confidence to give it a go and experiment to find out what works. Every face is different and will need different lighting to show the atmosphere and to suit their face correctly. Martin showed me that studio photography is a very artistic skill, and you have the opportunity to create whatever you want. I would highly recommend going on this course, it was truly amazing, thanks Martin!

We had Martin photograph our wedding and we were so impressed. Couldn't recommend him highly enough. Absolutely fantastic to work with, nothing was too much for him and was brilliant with the kids. The final photos are beyond amazing. Easy to contact and quick to respond. Will definitely use Martin again.

Hiring Martin as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions me and my wife made for our special day. Not only is Martin highly personable and professional, but he goes above and beyond to deliver a quality service for his clients. Not to mention that the photos that he produced of our day were stunning images that we will treasure forever.You'll be hard pressed to find a photographer as skilled and knowledgeable for the West Midlands area, so I have no hesitation in recommending Martin if you are looking for a wedding photographer.

Absolutely spot on.We met Martin when he photographed my sisters wedding, and soon after, decided to book him for our own after seeing the incredible photographs he did for them and seeing how clear it was that his photography meant so much to him.Martin travelled to just outside Bristol for our wedding which in itself was really kindOn the day we felt he was more than just a photographer as he helped a lot with organising, rounding people up etc and as always, very enthusiastic about ideas he had for photographs!The results are wonderful and we couldn't ask for anything better. He takes his photography very seriously and it's shown in the results. He will move mountains (or Registrar tables!) to get you the perfect shot!

Just perfect. Martin photographed our wedding earlier this year, he is super professional and friendly at the same time. The images he produced have blown us (and everyone else who has seen them) away, all of our pics feel like they are straight out of a magazine! We have also used Martin for various portraits from family ones to selfish ones of just me :-). Every single time we have used Martin and shared the photos my Facebook and Instagram have gone wild. I have been absolutely delighted with the mentoring program and one to one training I have received from Martin. I started photography only a year ago and with Martins help, encouragement and patience my work has improved dramatically. I cannot recommend him enough. My technical competence has not only been enhanced but Martin has also increased my confidence in my own ability, to tell a story and create something dynamic and unique.
