Hollingworth Lake Caravan Park

Great Site, Great area riddled with footpaths all over the hills and around Hollingworth Lake.Owners are very friendly and helpful. Plenty of electric hook ups. Toilet and shower block is old but clean (apparently there’s a new one being built)Definitely coming back

Very rasist towards irish told me because of my accent i could not book .i am a member of the caravan and camping club for over 5 years and never once had any issues untill now

Our first time out in our motorhome, we live in rochdale and chose to stay here for 1 night,we could have been anywhere, it was beautiful, the site had everything you need,brilliant for dogs,nice walks,will definitely stay here again.

Excellent for walks around the lake, pubs shops and restaurants on your doorstep. The site bit uneven and will a cracker when the new shower block and toilet facilities will open.

A very good site no trouble arriving just a shortage of staff through no fault of the owners the heavy rain had caused a lot of problems for them. When the owner arrived he was excellent and explained the hard work he was doing to make it brilliant. The low mark no ways shows the hard work to be done. More caravans arrived and he showed expertise in assisting them to feel safe and comfortable.

Excellent early march cheeky weekend, very friendly, stunning views, would be glorious in summer, looking forward to return trip

Excellent experience staying for the weekend, staff are so accommodating, nice flat grass pitches with ehu which are only 6 amp, park is being upgraded and I am looking forward to our next visit which isn't to far off.

Great site, quiet and friendly...only downside is they only have very low voltage for the electric hook ups...so you cant even boil a low wattage travel kettle without it tripping out at the main box! which is outside and not good when your undressed, it's dark and pouring with rain!!! Considering the price increase We feel this shouldn't happen. Weve been going for years and it's always been like this! It's fine for a T.V/digital box and lights but that's about it or you'll have to make regular trips to the breaker box to reset the trip switch! Enjoyed it other wise, just thought this issue needed highlighting for other guests!

Lovely site bit basic but ideal for a bit of peace and quiet the staff were excellent very friendly pitch was a good size and I will definitely be back
