Brookvale boarding

Really great place for the dog. Luka loved it and even got a bath and grooming before we picked him up. Highly recommend and we will be using again!

Brookvale's own brand of dog meal has an ingredient list that makes me want to eat it! After just one feed of it my Border Collie (who was having digestive and absorption problems) was back to his old self. His digestive system is back on track and it's great to see his appetite return. I highly recommend it, your dog will thank you for it.

We left Cookie with Brookvale for 4 weeks. First time for him and us, so I was very apprehensive.But………. I got such a surprise when I collected him. He looked fantastic, had been given a bathand was in brilliant form. And….. being a chocolate lab, I expected him to have put weight on, he hasn’t. He’s in great health and happy.I would absolutely recommend Brookvale.

With a new puppy and her never having been to kennels you can imagine I was quite nervous, But Chris and his team put my mind to rest straight away, I had plenty of contact during her Molly's" stay and she seemed to be having the life of riley.. infact I think she wanted to stay for another few days.. wouldn't hesitate to use Brookvale again.. and know I will.Thank you again Chris. I know you will love other peoples pets almost as much as the owners do."

Excellent boarding kennels at a very reasonable rate. Chris and the team went above and beyond in the care of my two dogs (one spaniel and one golden lab) throughout the summer. The professional, accommodating service was outstanding and would thoroughly recommend.

NOT RECOMMENDEDI boarded my two dogs, a Cocker Spaniel and a Springer Spaniel here for one week in September.When I got them home I discovered that one of the dogs, the Springer, had pressure sores on his front elbows and one of his ankles.On contacting the owner I was basicallytold that it was the dogs fault due to itsinactivity i.e. it was always lying in its bed!Apparently they've never seen dogs likemine before as they didn't pace aroundtheir enclosure and were always lyingdown.My dogs are content individuals. In theirdown time they switch off, don't most dogs sleep up to 14 hours a day?If they're stimulated, walked andinteracted with, they'll be as active as any other dog, particularly the Springer.Mine have been in other kennels numerous times with never a problem.Their bedding in Brookvale apparently consisted of a plastic bed and a blanket, somewhat basic.My Springer has severe arthritis in both front legs and had surgery previously on a back leg. I would have expected some cushioning for his bed, especially as I’d informed the kennels of his condition prior to his arrival.The exercise yard, I'm told, is concreteand the dogs can roam in it. And do what?I feel on this occasion my dogs weresomewhat neglected, left alone and didn't receive the playtime

I would happily recommend brookvale boarding to anyone! We boarded our 2.5yo GSD Austin here for 4 nights as we were getting married in Finnebrogue Woods and we wanted him close by. From the moment I enquired they were so kind and lovely and helpful. They even brought Austin to the wedding reception so we could have a few photos with him, which we are eternally grateful for! Austin was well cared for and happy when we collected him!

Chris and the team have been an absolute God send and Jette has finally found her ‘home from home’.Our Dutch Herder, who has proved a tad too much for the two kennels we have boarder her in previously, has just spent a fortnight in Brookvale.I can not recommend this man, his family and team highly enough.From her very own bespoke plan for her stay there, till picking up a glowing, well groomed and happy camper to go home…with updates and even a wee video while away.Our holiday would not have been possible without you. For that, and the care taken of our dog, I can’t thank you enough.

We had some difficulties with our dog's anxiety and went to Chris for advice and training. Best money we have spent in a long time ; dog owning has become fun again. I can't recommend highly enough. We have also used the kennels - again, I can't recommend highly enough. Great care is taken.

I've used Brookvale Kennels on several occasions and most recently at Christmas. Our dog has got to the stage he runs into to place!! Chris the owner knows his stuff and I have no hesitation in recommending the Kennels. The cost of boarding is very reasonable and our dog has been very well looked after when staying there
