Lotty Potty Pots
Had a great 1-1 taster session with Mel (Potty). I'd gone in thinking it was probably going to just be a bit of fun, but Mel is a serious teacher and I learnt so much in the time. Really enjoyed the session and it gave me a new appreciation for the level of skill required for pottery. Was super happy with how my pots came out, even my wonky first attempt (the green one!). Highly recommend the experience.

Lotty Potty Pots
I visited Lotty Potty Potts for a taster session and it was amazing! Mel was a great teacher and showed me (and just one other student) how to throw on a wheel - during the session I made three pots, which I'm looking forward to picking up once they've been in the kiln. The class was fun and informative and I learned so much in just 2 hours. The shop itself is beautiful and has such a wide variety of gorgeous pieces, some of which I had to buy!

Lotty Potty Pots
I love going to see Lotty Potty Pots - fantastic tuition, beautiful pottery and a lovely calm and fun environment to learn. I first stubbled across the studio when I lived a couple of doors down, and it’s now such a treat to visit. Mel is a great teacher, allowing you to find your own style whilst being informative and helpful, whilst being lighthearted and fun all at the same time.

Lotty Potty Pots
Absolutely loved the mini course I did at Lotty, Potty, Pots! I was a total pottery newbie and took a lot of encouragement but Mel was so great. We went through everything from throwing, trimming and glazing - so exciting to see them come together!The studio itself is such a lovely tranquil space, I will definitely be back!

Mel was a great teacher and as total beginners we came away from the taster with a much better understanding of the whole process. We definately want to come back with a new solid grasp of fundamentals to try again, and continue to progress from our first wobbly attempts! Has a great shop inside too, worth visiting for a look!

I took the mini course with Potty and had a thoroughly amazing time. She’s knowledgeable, fun and a great company to be with on the wheel! She’s quick to respond and I’m sure you’ll have as much fun as I did while learning about pottery.The studio is very conveniently located and a very lovely space.

We had such a great time doing a taster session. We felt very welcome and relaxed, and we laughed a lot. We made three bowls and both of us are keen to try pottery again! Would definitely recommend. Thank you :)

Lotty Potty Pots
My daughter and I recently completed the two hour taster session with Mel (Potty). It was so enjoyable. Both of us were completely new to throwing (and pottery in general), but by the end of the two hours, we genuinely felt we had developed skills upon which we could build further. Mel was an excellent teacher....patient and encouraging but also a very funny. We're both excited to return and learn more. Highly recommend

Lotty Potty Pots
I came to Lotty Potty Pots having moved to a new area, looking to rejuvenate my pottery skills after some time away from the wheel. I immediately felt welcome at the studio and it is the perfect environment to learn in! Lotty and Mel are brilliant teachers and I always have so much fun when I spend time there. Whether you are a beginner or have experience in ceramics, I can’t recommend Lotty Potty Pots highly enough!
