Out of season, the boatyard was open and they were re-painting their hire boats. All looked good to me!

We had a trip booked for a week from Aldermaston Warf. Our trip was cut short due to unforeseen circumstances. Ashley & Dave from the dock did what they told us they would do to help us and once we arrived home, Lynda the customer services Manager put things right. The holiday didn't turn out as planned but they did everything they could to put things right. It was just one of those situations that could not have been predicted.

What a great weekend 3 boats, 8 people with no experience, what could possibly go wrong?Well loads but Oh! what fun, even though it rained nearly all weekend.Mind you Sunday evening, when it did stop, it gave us a view of what a nice day on the water could be like.As it's the end of the season our boat was a little tired but didn't spoil the weekend.

What an amazing day! Hired a canal boat for the day. Quick ten min video on lock safety. And we were off. An engineer came with us to the first bridge and lock and then we were on out own. Peaceful idyllic day away from it all. Best if its your first time to have a few bodies on board to help with the locks. But theres no rush its..... relaxed and chilled and its perfect if yoy want some quiet time and something a bit different

We have hired a boat from here on two occasions. The first year the end bedroom smelt awful of the sewer tank and the pipes ran through the cupboard in that room. The cupboard reeked! The second year we didn't have a vacuum cleaner and that's the only boat we've ever had that didn't. We were told they were economising? Other than this it's ok!

The staff are so welcoming and friendly, and they made everything so easy. Have been here twice and would highly recommend it. In fact we are on our canal boat now (timeshare with ABC)

Serviced my boat and took care of it for a few days. Nice bunch of lads. Chandlers too. You don't really have a lot of choice down this end of the Kennet, but they do a good job.

Love love loved it! Best fun ever and learned a lot about navigating s huge bus on water! A great way to meet people too and lots of lovely pubs along the way. The company were great and the boat was very nicely kept.
