Breezy Ridge Vineyard

The setting is beautiful if sitting outside but the restaurant is poorly decorated and fitted out. The small plates menu seems designed less for culinary reasons than for profit while the indifference of the cooking is not matched by the pricing but only by the service. It’s such a shame because this could be a wonderful venture if executed well.

I can't thank the team at Breezy Ridge enough for all their efforts to make a Maid of Honour proposal go smoothly! Becky's communications were fab prior to the evening and everyone was on board to make sure the dinner went ahead without a hitch.The food is fantastic and the place is a real asset to the local area, there aren't many places like this around without having to travel quite far out.The team are super friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant is gorgeous, beautifully decorated and wonderfully intimate. I can't wait to come back!

Second visit to Breezy Ridge with the same group of friends. The last visit was June 2022. The lovely lady remembered us, where we sat, why we were there, where we worked. Amazing!The food and wine are equally fantastic. Delicious, well prepared, and presented. Highly recommend a visit. We will be going back again as soon as we can all make it!

Today we visited Breezy Ridge vineyard. What a lovely place. There were three in our party, and we were on holiday in Shaftesbury. The food, wine ,staff, ambiance ,was all fantastic. Well worth a visit. If we return to the area again in the future, we will definitely visit again. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Food brilliant. Service good. Just need to stop the staff throwing the empty bottles into the bin, instead of placing them in there.

Went to this venue on the evening of Friday 28th April on recommendation from friends. We had a somewhat disappointing experience. Firstly I have to say the food was very good and clearly the chef certainly knows his trade...All of the food including deserts were excellent. What let things down badly were the 2 male members of staff on duty that evening...At times it did feel like we had accidentally ended up on the set of faulty towers...Inattentive , very slow, not up to speed with gluten intolerance, not smiley, not approachable or engaging.. Given that there were only 8 diners in ..yes I did say EIGHT people the service should have been 5 star...I would estimate the amount of covers in the venue was about 45/50 when completely full...I cannot imagine how the staff would cope if they had to deal with that situation. Our service was pretty much on a go slow.Myself and my partner eat out quite regularly and have come to expect a high standard of service. This fell well short of our expectations. Becky really needs to educate her staff on a higher quality of service and definitely train them more in allergy and gluten intolerance. The guy we spoke with was clearly not up to speed with gluten issues and repeatedly returned to the kitchen to ask the chef for advice...HE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN !.Such a shame as the Venue is very very nice but experience tainted by 2 star service.

Since BR first opened we’ve been regulars on many occasions and we just wanted to say that this place goes from strength to strength. The food and service is amazing. The team are awesome. Joe and Becky are great and always welcoming. You can’t beat it for a lovely lunch/catch up with friends. We’d highly recommend to anyone of all ages.

Had a wonderful, relaxed lunch with 3 friends today at Breezy Ridge.We sat outside on the newly built decking area and savoured the views. The food was delicious! Lovely grazing boards, salt and pepper squid to die for and really tasty chips with wasabi sauce.

Lovely evening at BR. The surroundings are fantastic and the restaurant was lovely. The food was excellent and the staff were very polite and helpful. The food was very good and the quality was excellent. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing.
