I had the great fortune to stumble across courses both run personally by Rachel & co hosted with other experienced jewellers. I attribute my stone setting know how and confidence to the two full days I spent in Rachel's well equipped and organised workshop. Having had recommendations about Rachel, I travelled from South Wales to be there and I've certainly never regretted that decision. I have subsequently been in touch a couple of times when facing a thorny problem at the bench, and Rachel's extensive professional knowledge offered with patient explanations has been very much appreciated. I could easily be in touch regularly but, let's be honest, time is important to all of us & so I don't want to abuse her generosity - but I know that if I lived closer, I'd be buying cakes often just to pop in and avail myself of her evident experience. Rachel, if you read this, considered yourself saved by distance!!! Thank you for your help.

Had a wonderful experience as part of a hen do activity. Rachel was welcoming, friendly and made the learning of new skills enjoyable and accessible for beginners. Rachel was an excellent teacher, explaining the process and making sure everyone in the group got individual time and attention. She showed us the different types of rings we could make and gave design ideas and advice. We each made a unique ring which we designed and made to fit, and we were able to engrave if we wanted to. It was a fantastic experience which we all really enjoyed and I’d recommend this for a similar group activity or for learning to make your own jewellery. I love that we have something unique to wear as a reminder of this day and I love how my ring turned out so a big thank you to Rachel for this.

Rachel Hearne is a fantastic teacher. She is very patient and she has helped me in so many ways especially as I have a tremor in both my hands. I look forward to going to make jewellery every week.

Rachel has repaired and re-mounted a number of my rings and I have bought jewellery from her. She is absolutely amazing. Not only is she a wonderful person to deal with, her jewellery is stunning. I cannot recommend Rachel enough.

Rachel is an amazing jeweller. She has made several pieces. This beautiful ring was the latest thing using new (sapphire) and and precious family materials (diamonds and gold) to create aa ring I absolutely love

Went on the silver clay and stone setting one day course. Great fun. Learnt a new skill. Rachel is a super teacher, giving both theory and practical training, and her studio is light, airy, and well set up for a variety of jewellery classes

I did a one day silver clay workshop with Rachel and highly recommended it. I learnt a lot and now feel like I could make jewellery at home using silver clay which is really exciting. Rachel has a fabulous studio and is welcoming, friendly and an excellent tutor.

I attended the Silver Clay workshop with my sister and friend for her special birthday. Rachel welcomed us into her beautiful studio, and we had the most amazing day!
