Channing Hall
Excellent venue to visit or book for your own events. This is a classic Victorian building, complete with wall tiles, cast-iron staircases. The main hall gives the impression of a medieval Mercer's hall, complete with brass plaques to commemorate the goodly folk who were past leaders of the congregations which used this hall for worship.

Great venue! swift lift takes you to all floors, the disabled toilet was lovely, modern and plenty of room for my electric chair. Beautiful old well loved building in the heart of the city. Do consider this if you are looking to put on an event.

The most incredible venue. Held our wedding reception here and had the best time. Marc, Jon and Andy were very supportive and were always available to ask questions and were phenomenal in helping us set up. Fully accessible, facilities are spotless. Kitchen space available and able to bring in own catering. Also able to bring own drink with no corkage! Great sound system too. The whole venue is absolutely stunning and has great lighting for all your photos.

Channing Hall
Stunning historic venue with modern facilities and attentive staff. The beautiful Channing Hall on the second floor is spacious, light, beautifully furnished and overlooks the town hall. There are also rooms elsewhere in the building for smaller meetings, overlooking a courtyard. A unique setting in the city centre, highly recommended.
