Learning by Questions

LbQ is a fantastic resource for the classroom - I use it most days! I enjoy how I am are able to observe and track the children's progress on the computer. This enables me to easily see what kind of topics/questions all children have a misconception so I am able to confidently iron out any issues. I love it!

This is a fantastic platform for all of Key Stage 2! Initially we used it for maths in Year 6 but all year groups now see the benefit and used for grammar, spelling AND some of the foundation subjects. The children love the gradual feedback and the live lesson mode is extremely powerful! So much data too - an amazing tool.

I have used LBQ for a number of years - I think it is one of the best platforms to support learning across a range of subjects in KS2. It is great for interventions, and prep for Year 6 SATs too! High quality and very easy to use. The kids love it!

We have only been using this platform for a few months but both the children and myself love it. The instant feedback is great and the scaffolding within the questions allows the children to become more independent. So far we have used LBQ as part of a lesson, to revise previously taught lessons and to consolidate lessons that some children find tricky. Not only can you access the materials for your year group, but you have full access to all other year groups, which allows you to differentiate where needed. After every activity, you can download a repost that lets you know how the children have done. This was useful to use as an assessment tool and allowed the children to see which areas they needed to work on.

I've been using the LBQ platform for over 4 years and it never disappoints! Children are able to quickly develop attention to detail and reduce the number of 'silly errors' they make in their learning. Winklebury Junior SchoolWe have been using LbQ for several years now especially for maths, in Year 6, with great results. The automatic marking, pupil prompts and built-in progression through understanding, fluency, problem solving and reasoning means all children are challenged. Questions are promptly responded to by LbQ, when they arise, and we have found that integrating their lessons with our practical and paper based learning has helped ensure progress and independent learning across our classes.

We signed up to LBQ's Year 6 Booster offer - which gave free access to a range of resources including Year 6 assessment tasks.Immediately, our children engaged fully with the platform - they loved watching the results live on screen (without names) and challenging each other.The biggest 'sell' for us was the 'learning' aspect. Having used lots of online platforms, LBQ was the first that provided the learning aspect when you got something wrong. It was very encouraging to see how many answer boxes were yellow - showing a fail followed by a success.I cannot recommend LBQ enough - and have been telling all of my Year 6 colleagues about it.
