This branch are an absolute joke!! They are unable to print a new bank card off, so order you a new one tell you that you'll have it in 3 working days, still doesn't arrive after 4 days. I've just called to be told that I have to go into the branch before they can print it off, they still cant tell me whether or not the printing machine is working so they expect me to travel to the town then pay parking charges and I might not even get what I'm going for. My opinion is if you want a bank who will go the extra mile and a bank who value their customers, then Barclays isn't the bank for you!!

Over the course of several days, I came to this bank to open an account with it, and every day a new employee comes and asks me for other papers, and today I decided not to open it again, and I do not advise anyone to deal with this bank at all.

I go every week to deposit cash and everytime queue is a mile long and you wait for ages to pay in with only one person taking money and everyone else just standing about. I know there is a pandemic but Lloyds bank over the road never has a queue because they have plenty staff serving and still have measures in place to keep you safe . Barclays you need to up your game.

Staff are useless and the way they act you would think they owned the place! No you work for minimum wage! Manager is rude and arrogant! If you ain’t a premier or wealth customer they ain’t interested in you!

When I walk in with my own hand sanitiser visibly sanitising my hands and certain staff STILL feel the need to spout their rehearsed lines... 'can you make sure you sanitise your hands for me per-lease!'. What do you think I'm doing, rubbing my hands with glee? Shush, just carry on standing there doing nothing with the other 4 members of staff there on the shop floor while I march over to self service.

Had made an app error, had to go to bank whilst on holiday. Dreading it after these reviews. Staff in the bank were all great. Laura Ann managed to unravel my complex mis payment and it has been refunded. Although we had to queue for a bit the branch was absolutely fine, and our advisor, Lara Ann, was cheerful, professional and worked out how to fix MY error. Thanks to all there.

I went last week to this branch as Barclays had decided to close my nearest local branch down during the current situation. I had to go, not through wanting to, due to having to pay in money as I could not do this on line. The distancing arrangements were in place, two metre's apart, but they only allowed three people in the branch at anyone time. Hence there was a fair few in the queue outside.Once in side I found some six staff members at least plus the two giving hand sanitiser to every entrant.. The operation of paying in was fairly simple once I had figure out what to do..The staff stood well back from me and the other customers as I struggled at first have never used the automated till machines prior to this. There was no helpful advice but a distinct attitude once in side. this I found not the least bit friendly to say the least unlike the former Chester road branch staff. Suffice to say, I will reflect on continuing with Barclays or Not.. Barclays certainly have forgotten how to conduct business.
