Go Ape Alice Holt

Excellent centre and great fun for Adults and kids! We went on a Saturday and it wasn’t too busy at all. The groups were well staggered. We did the Tree Top Challenge which for adults is a must. The friendly instructors take you through what you need to know, then watch you do a small practice course and send you on your way. There are instructors around the course too for safety. There is a cafe at the Forrest that had a wide selection of hot and cold food and drink as well as good toilet facilities. The go ape staff look after your bags for you, they provide a numbered wrist band for security.

Great session for my daughter and sister at sundown in beautiful Alice Holt. Staff were sooo welcoming and fun. Would recommend to anyone who loves to be in the forest.

We had a lovely time on the treetop adventure with a 5 year old and a 10 year old. Our daughter was very nervous (as was I!) and the instructors couldn’t have been kinder, more helpful or friendly than they were. What an exciting adventure made better by awesome staff that were truly invested in getting us through the course!

The treetop challenge is fantastic but better for people more confident on the ropes, it’s a really beautiful view once you get up in the canopy and it’s really safe and well managed. It’s a nice unique experience if your looking to take the kids out for a memorable day. We have been a few times now and it always brings a smile.

I took my 8 year old son and 9 year old nephew to Go Ape yesterday. We had a fantastic experience. The staff were great and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My nephew has cerebral palsy and whilst he managed the first course really well, the second was trickier. It wasn’t a problem as Oliver came up and guided him through the second half of the course. He was very kind and encouraging and ensured my nephew made it all way round with a smile on his face.

Kids had a great time. We had a 9, 10, 11 and 12 year old, 2 boys 2 girls and they all did the Treetop Adventure Plus course. It was one of the hottest days of the year and we thought they'd be in the shade but it was a mixture and they were very hot and sweaty, so have a drink ready for between rides.There's 4 routes, and they can do all 4 repeatedly until their hour is up. Each ends up with a zip line.It was busy, and some kids behind were rushing and not giving enough space to slower, inexperienced climbers, but I guess that always happens on busy days. My kids (10 & 12) have done so many of these but still loved it.The site is lovely, a huge park with a cafe that sells coffee, cakes, ice-cream and sandwiches. There's toilets and a play area and loads of trails. We didn't have time to explore all these but you could spend the day here easily.You have to pay for parking, at the end at a booth on the opposite side near the toilets and cafe.

Great place to challenge yourself.I am having trouble with height and it was a very good experience.Some of the stages are easy and others challenging and some of them are fun. Stepping out of the platform to the nothing was very scary for me even knowing I am attached to the wire.

Highly highly recommend.I took my son there who is mobile but has Cerebral Palsy and it was honestly once of the best activities we have ever done.He had the best time and that was thanks to the wonderful staff on duty that day, in particular ZOE, who was so incredibly kind, supportive and helpful.Zoe you were amazing and helped my son to overcome all obstacles that day, promoting his independence with encouragement and support which in turn helped him enormously with his confidence!Thank you so so much x

Fantastic day out doing the treetop challenge with my 10 year old son and 12 year old niece. We were all a little nervous but the safety briefing and instructors are excellent and the instructions for using the equipment are very clear. Favourite part - the Tarzan jump!
