Basetec Construction Ltd – Piling and Underpinning Contractors

The boys from Bolton have done a marvellous job for us carrying out piling for a single storey extension in very poor ground with a culvert nearby. Cannot praise them enough. Building inspector complimented them on the neatness and quality of workmanship. Basetec was recommended to us and we are very grateful for the recommendation. Jim and his team provided an extremely professional service from start to finish. During very challenging conditions the communication and workmanship was fantastic. Having had a survey report confirming we had a subsidence issue that needed to be rectified, we asked around for a number of firms to quote for the work we needed to have completed.We decided to ask Basetec to complete the work because Jim explained everything to us very clearly and helped keep our minds at ease despite the stressful situation this kind of thing creates.The work itself was completed quickly, despite the challenging weather conditions during January! We were kept up-to-date throughout the work and Jim was always on hand if we ever had a question for him.Even though we had only asked for the underpinning work, Jim also offered to replace our leaky drains, which we were going to have done separately. This saved us a little money and a lot of time.The end result is that we now have our house on a firm footing and we are really pleased with the work and the way the work was completed.Thanks to Jim and his team for a job well done. Excellent all-round service from the Basetec team. They arrived when projected, were respectful of our home, got stuck in without fuss, and left the site in a good, clean state. They were recommended to us, and we'll recommend them to others.

Basetec have just completed a pilling job. The process was very easy from the initial enquiry to completion of the job at a fair price.

Really pleased with our recent experience with Basetec. Called for some advice on our foundations on an extension and Jim came out same day to review the site, he clearly knew his stuff and provided a quote there and then, which was competitive against other prices we'd had. They were able to start work the following week, the lads cracked on with no fuss and nothing was a problem for them despite a few setbacks with machinery. All sorted hassle free including liaison with building inspector and structural calcs. Would definitely recommend Basetec for any groundworks especially on problematic ground.

Really pleased with the piling job that Basetec have just completed on our extension. We were fearing the worst when we discovered that our foundations would need piling, however Jim and the team were quick to get started and the job was completed in a couple of days. The lads were neat and tidy on site and the building inspector was happy with Basetec's work. Would highly recommend!
