That Studio

Only one thing to say OMG. It was such an amazing experience for my very first tattoo. Great job, incredible staff - so friendly and reassuring, even the other customers where fab too.

Took granddaughter for piercing, very nice atmosphere, very clean extremely helpful and pleasant staff.

Last April I came to that studio to get a tattoo with Shan Murray, I had got my first tattoo done with her (a small phrase on my chest) which was done well so I went back for a bigger one on my forearm. I understand she was an apprentice but I now have a lot of discomfort from the tattoo due to reasons out of my control and in hers. I’ve spoken to other tattooist fairly recently and have discovered that the issues that have arisen since were not caused by anything I did. I have blue staining across most of my forearm under the tattoo and the lines are raised. She informed me about a quarter way through that she had never done this sort of work before but it seemed already too late and I didn’t see the harm since it looked quite good. I’m happy with the design -besides a few little wonky lines which I didn’t not expect- it’s just the discomfort I get from it, occasionally it gets itchy and then sore when I itch it. I’ve been informed the issues I’ve got come from pressing the needle into the skin too hard.I would take a photo but it’s hard to grasp in an image.I do want to add I’ve used that studio in the past for piercings, several times, and have nothing against the business. They’ve been very good. It was just this issue with the tattooist and I haven’t been back since.

Absolutely amazing place, so friendly and helpful. I had gotten my ears pierced somewhere else five months ago and tried changing my earrings for the first time. It did not go well! I was then unable to put my original earrings back in and the place I'd got them done was too far away so I rang up That Studio in the morning after reading so many good reviews. They were only too happy to help. I got an appointment within 2 hours and Gaz was so kind and reassuring. He had to use a special tool to put the original earrings back in and the level of hygiene was immaculate - he cleaned my ears and earrings for me, used gloves, gave me loads of advice on helping my ears to heal fully and just generally put me at ease. I will definitely be back when my ears are ready for new earrings. So glad I found this place and I would 100% recommend them to everyone.

Highly recommend! I had my nose pierced today and was super impressed with the service I received at That Studio. The guy (sorry don’t know his name!) was super professional and definitely knew what he was doing. The studio was super clean and tidy. The atmosphere was calm and professional. We were totally made to feel at ease and the aftercare instructions were very thorough. We were encouraged to pop back in if we had any questions or wanted to check how it was healing. Prices were very reasonable and staff were really helpful. I will be returning!

Took my teenage daughter for her belly piercing. It was very clean, friendly staff & Gaz the piercer was fab. He has a really cool, chilled ora which put my daughter at ease and talked through every step with her. Will deffo be recommending, thank you.
