Only gave 1 star because couldn't give zero. Bought a bag for my wife 4 months ago, leather Picard backpack. Last week my wife noticed a few marks that looked like the start of peeling, and she looks after her stuff. Took it back and expected to exchange for a different bag, simple. Not. We were told they had to keep the bag for inspection, couple of weeks and we had to come back for the decision. We spent £105 on the bag and were prepared to swap for a cheaper one at £99. But no, no can do. Seems their only returns policy is 14 days and that is that. Don't shop here.

As previous reviews state, loyalty scheme is really good. I recently bought another bag from the Tannery in Woodbridge, the staff were very helpful , as always, but explained how the loyalty scheme worked..seemed too good to be true..but it wasn’t!

I recently celebrated my birthday! I wanted a new bag and I knew exactly where to buy it. Only trouble was we were in the middle of the COVID19 pandemic. I needn’t have worried though. After a quick email to The Tannery , I received several emails helping me purchase a bag I had seen in the Woodbridge store. Excellent customer service, prompt replies. Thank you Lindsay and Emily. One very happy customer here, can’t wait for my bag to arrive now!! I know I won’t be disappointed!!!I can thoroughly recommend buying from here, I always receive great customer service!
