The Boat House
Great to see this reopening with new owners. Enjoyed our trip for drinks in a warm, snug space. The Boat House burger was delicious. In the warmer weather I'm sure it'll be even more popular for enjoying food and drink next to the river. It's a nice vibe, friendly staff and plenty of dining and drinking space.

Recently went for a staff xmas meal. Room was decorated lovely and we took a great picture by the tree. We had name cards was a nice touch. The food was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. Many thanks

It does the job, if you are waiting for a National Express Coach; a perfect rest spot. If you have just got to Salisbury after 8pm when the rest rooms are closed at the coach stop & hungry, just the place before you go exploring

Beautifully situated by the river, it was sad to see it so empty on a Saturday especially as it’s such a lovely atmosphere and the food was enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We went here for a late Christmas do, there was 18 of us. The decor is very sophisticated, nice and clean. The food was of a really great standard. I don't normally order steak when I go out as it can be hit or miss with this but there was nothing else on the menu that interested me, the steak was amazing, I would go as far as to say in the top 5 that I've had.I waiting staff were very good and prompt and all the meals came out together which is always nice. Even better they knew who had what meal and considered we pre ordered this 2 months ago, none of us attending could remember what we had order lol.I hope this restaurant manages to survive as it is lovely and I will be returning, however the entertainment was harsh on the ears if I'm honest, this could be improved.Overall I was more than pleasantly surprised.

This was my first time at The Boathouse, and I was throughly impressed. The decor was beautifully presented , everything was clean and tidy and we were greeted by a lovely man as we walked in who showed us to our table. The ambience was lovely, the music was just the right, not too loud.Our waitress Megan, was lovely, friendly, and was knowledgeable about the food and wine , and was quick serving our drinks. Our food that came out, was absolutely delicious. Lovely portions off the main bar menu.Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat somewhere nice or even have a first date!The pub sits beside a river, which in the summer would provide beautiful views.10/10

It finally opened again, they have done fantastic refurbishment, the whole place looks classy and quirky at the same time. The location is excellent and there is nothing better then sitting next to the river and have a cup of coffee or whatever you like, the only downside is, regular Latte is 4 pounds, but I guess it is energy prices to blame not them.
