A late Saturday lunch. Cocktails on the roof terrace before food & wine at the downstairs bar. Delicious variety of small plates. Very friendly & helpful staff. Fun to watch the chefs in action.

Truly tremendous! Not to be missed. We had an absolutely fantastic meal here, celebrating our wedding anniversary. Every dish and bite was beyond delicious! VERY gluten free friendly, too!

We had higher expectations for this place. We had the chefs menu. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either.Unfortunately the service was too slow, even on a Thursday and we had to endure a 30min wait between each course.

The Flint House was incredible. From ambiance, to service, to the fantastic food, nothing has given me a reason not to write a glowing review. The corn fritters were top notch, as a recommendation. I had also asked in advance if they could wish my partner a happy birthday when we arrived, which they did, but they then also went above and beyond by offering her a fudge dessert on the house, with a little candle (and no embarrassing singing!)When you're in Brighton please don't skip trying this place!

From beginning to end, we were treated with such care and attention! The staff were very friendly, helpful and clearly passionate about this place and rightly so! We had the 5 course chef's menu with wine pairings. Every plate that came was delicious with interesting flavour combinations to which the wine matched perfectly. We had such a lovely evening. It was a fabulous start to our holiday in Brighton. Thank you!

We were there just after Christmas and the festive decorations were still on, I liked that. We felt a nice atmosphere when we entered the restaurant. I recommend a reservation, there a seats at the bar of the open kitchen, a few seats on high chairs as well by the window (where we sat) and more tables on the 1st floor.I liked the contemporary interior design. The staff was very friendly. We ordered a few dishes. The idea is to share everything. We liked the tender and juicy ox cheek most and the rest of the food was ok as well.

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch, sat outside on the terrace, at The Flint House in central Brighton. The food is high quality, and very well presented. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and attentive. We had raw tuna with tomato jelly, and anchovies on toast with soft boiled eggs to start. This was followed by charred leeks, roasted seabass, sweetcorn fritters, and the confit potato. We opted for Campari spritz to accompany the food. This place was recommended to me, and so I decided to try it for myself. I’m glad I did, and I highly recommend it :)

Tucked away in the middle of the Lanes is this small but fine restaurant. To be honest, we didn't have too high expectations beforehand, but we were more than pleasantly surprised. The starter-plates (especially the celery and the croquette) blew us away and were a real treat. The main courses were good, but didn't come close to the starters. The service was very friendly and attentive. In my opinion, the restaurant is much more atmospheric than the pictures suggest. Dogs were welcome! All in all, a great restaurant with a really good value for money.

We found the food here of very good quality, although they call it small plates it’s really just the standard, Starter, Main & Dessert, this just seems to be the new thing at restaurants, perhaps to make you spend a little more on an extra dish, that you probably wouldn’t normally have.Although the staff were all very pleasant the service was shockingly slow, not just for us looking around this was the same for everyone and something that does need to be improved upon.

We visited the Flint house for a work dinner, very nice setting, the lighting, music, very cozy.We had the Chef’s Menu, which is a 5 course meal. Some of us had the wine pairing too.Everything was absolutely delicious, there was not a single dish that we didn’t love.I would highly recommend this menu, and specially with the wine pairing. It was such a great experience and we will remember it for a long time. The only thing to mention is that the booking was for a 2h30min slot, which was totally fine for us, however, as we had the 5 course menu this was very tight. We had to be moved 10 mins before our slot was over as another table was coming in and we still had to have desserts. That being said, we were moved to another table downstairs that was not booked, therefore we could stay as long as we wanted.I think a 3 hours slot for a 5 course meal would have been the ideal time. Some people in my party were a little bothered by this interruption, which is why I thought I’d mention this.Other than that, we had an excellent time and will definitely be coming back in the future!
