My husband has been treated in A&E twice in the last four weeks. The staff have been outstanding, without exception. Respectful, patient and professional, explaining everything clearly. Some patients sounded particularly difficult, but the staff continued with the same patience and professionalism.A first class service that we are so lucky to have!

Sat In A&E for 11 hours before I was put in a bed. No water was put on my bedside table for the first hour. Nurses just couldn’t be bothered with the patient

I had to go to A&E with a dog bite last night and everyone was very helpful. I was seen by a nurse within 15 mins and another 15 mins later I was out of there. This was after 10 pm. My previous experience (with extreme back ache) was also positive, longer wait but less than 2 hours.

Do *NOT* Trust their Diagnosis. Get a quick 2nd opinion at a decent hospital. ESPECIALLY if it involves a disgnosis using a CT Scan or MRI image. They seem to be totally lacking in Staff who actually know WHAT they are looking AT or FOR !!Too many Missed or WRONG Diagnoses and can be fatal.Really got to Royal Surrey as much better.

I had to wait a long time for treatment in A&E but once it was my turn I was treated with care and attention. Pain relief given was effective. Stitches didn't hurt going in and I hope it won't hurt when they come out!

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and disappointment with the services provided by your hospital. Specifically, I would like to bring to your attention the excessive waiting time in A&E I experienced during a recent visit to your facility. On 18/10/23, My dad had chest pain an at your hospital. As a we understand that there may be unforeseen circumstances and delays, but waiting for over 10 hours without any reasonable explanation or updates is entirely unacceptable. The extended waiting time not only caused immense inconvenience but also had a negative impact on my dad physical and mental well-being. It is distressing to witness the lack of consideration for patients who are already dealing with health issues and are in need of prompt medical attention. Moreover, the lack of communication and transparency regarding the delay was disheartening. I had to repeatedly inquire about the reason for the delay and received inconsistent and unsatisfactory responses from the hospital staff. This unprofessional behavior only added to my frustration and eroded my trust in the hospital's ability to provide adequate care.I firmly believe that every patient, regardless of their condition, should be treated with respect, compassion, and efficiency. The extensive waiting time not only undermines these fundamental principles but also raises concerns about the quality of care provided by your institution.I expect your hospital to take immediate action to rectify this issue and prevent such delays from occurring in the future. Furthermore, I request a detailed explanation regarding the cause of the delay and the steps being taken to ensure that patients are seen in a timely manner. Please note that I am considering taking this matter further if my concerns are not adequately addressed. This may include filing a formal complaint with the appropriate regulatory bodies and sharing our experience on various public platforms.Worst hospital to be In.

Told by 111 to go to an urgent treatment centre immediately, so paid St Peter's a visit at around 8.45pm on a Thursday night. I sat waiting for three hours, until 11.45pm when I got called and was told that the urgent treatment centre would not be able to treat me as it was about to close. They said that I could make an appointment to come back or join the 5.5 hour accident and emergency queue. So three hours wasted, when a quick three minute triage could have said that it could wait until the morning and that 111 was just being overly cautious. Utterly ridiculous. And why not tell patients that they can't be seen before they spend 3 hours waiting, just to be told to go away until the morning? They know the waiting times at any given moment, so it's not rocket science. The NHS is a truly broken money pit. None of it works together. None of it works separately.

My mum had a stroke on Wednesday evening. From the paramedics who took her to the emergency department to the staff on Aspen Ward what a fantastic caring bunch you are. A special shout out to Hannah in the emergency room what a great bedside manner even under pressure, thank you all.

My girlfriend has severe epilepsy, so whilst we were having a weekend away at Thorpe Park, she sadly went into status and had continuous seizures. She was taken straight into resus, but I was appalled at how she was treated. They couldn't be slower if they tried. Sent us home at 4am (well back to thorpe park in the pouring rain without a car!) They did absolutely nothing for her. I was so disgusted at this hospital.
