I really liked the vibe in this place. The music isn't invasively loud, the seating is spacious enough that you do not feel like you are crammed in and the aesthetic is really nice.The waiting wasn't to much, we wanted more time to choose and there is good choice on the menu, really like the platter of nachos at the start!Cost was what I'd expect from a restaurant of this ilk, but oh my of the food worth it!They have a gluten free menu and a vegan menu too!I'd recommend this place wholly!

My husband and I visit here fairly regularly with our 2 year old daughter and we always really enjoy it. On our latest visit we did have quite a wait for our mains as we were informed there was a new chef taking over in the kitchen. We didn't mind too.much as we were happy chatting and could see it was quite busy and our server (who I think may have been a manager) was apologetic and waived the cost of our daughters meal as a good will gesture which was very kind. When the food arrived it was perfect so no complaints there! We have been many times already and will be back again.

It’s a case of 3 ½ stars. 4 is too much (compared to other places I’ve rated **** and 3 is too little, because food is good (not “great” but perfectly acceptable in this class) desserts are great (see photo) and the service has always been prompt and attentive. I’d choose Chiquito over Nando’s any day.

I have been here twice in a week (oops!) It is very hit or miss. The first time the starter was really poor. VERY overdone nachos. However, the main which was a valentine's special steak was absolutely amazing. The best ever!! It definitely made up for the poor starter.The second time, the starters were really nice, but the mains were very poor. My partners chilli was dry and overheated and the children had burnt food :( it was obviously burnt but we had waited so long that I couldn't complain because the kids were hungry. It has really put us off going. For a family of 5 it was very expensive and we gave it a second chance but not sure again. It is an amazing concept, the menu is fabulous but the food is always overcooked. We are very disappointed :(EDIT: I forgot to say that my daughter ordered rice and fries as her sides but ended up with only corn on the cob. It wasn't until after we noticed.

Not great unfortunately. We went at a quiet time, when a shift change had happened. They got 2 orders wrong, a drinks and a main order. They tried their best to rectify this to their credit but it shouldn't have been an issue to begin with.The service was slow with very few people there, (understaffed?) it took more than 10 minutes for the 2 drinks to arrive.They did well with explaining vegan options and providing a gluten free menu.I'd go again, but if it has the same level of service that'd be my last visit.

Great food with friendly staff who frequently check to see if everything is ok or if you need anything. Cocktails are nice too. Highly recommended.

Just finished a very delicious sharing platter with my wife, and as only meat ones are available on the menu, and we are both vegetarians, Anna, the manager went the extra mile and catered for our dietary requirements! Have visited this restaurant on many occasions and have always had lovely meals with very friendly staff who are a credit to the establishment. Highly recommended!

Excellent service!!Waiters were always there when we needed something.The manager made us feel so welcome from start to finish. I loved how he always went that extra step. Would definitely be coming back 5*
