Probably aimed more at the beginner climber. Not a big wall. Some of the staff didn't seem too happy or friendly. I think I'll stick to Arch North.

Spacious and modern, this climbing wall is located by the shopping centre. The space has toilets and showers which are quite fancy and the course welcomes anyone with any skill levels.

It would have been a 5 if they had a pull up bar and a fingerboard. Otherwise a perfect place. Although it's not the biggest, there're more than enough routes for a local climbing center

It's a great local spot. And prices are pretty good for the little ones. My niece is only 4 and she's zipped straight up the walls. It's not a massive site, but it's a good size. It's bouldering only (so no ropes, free climbing). They also do an after school club on wednesdays which looked good, but was fully booked (book in advance) so we couldn't get involved.I brought my niece which is why I'm talking from a child's perspective - there are plenty of adult climbers lol- adults need to pay for their shoes separately.Get there 10 mins early for safety video and forms first time.

As a bouldering beginner, this branch is perfect for me. I did the 60-min beginner intro lesson which taught me how to fall safely and basic techniques. The female teacher was great, very patient and answered all our questions. Learning to fall safely gave me the much needed confidence to come back and do it myself. The environment is clean including the toilets and they also have shower rooms. A very tiny gym in a corner and lockers. It was quite cold when I was resting between climbs when I went on a rainy day. So worth bringing a long sleeved top just in case.Located in the Surrey Quays shopping mall, you can also get a coffee or food before or after climb.I would highly recommend coming during school hours or evening time. I came once on a Sun morning and there were young kids around which gave extra stress as occasionally a kid ran around.

Great place and my local wall . But avoid the weekends. The wall is packed with kids running around and parents ignoring basic safety rules . Staff is amazing and welcoming but they really need to be more strict if they want to avoid accidents.

If you've never done indoor rock climbing or bouldering before, this is a very good place to go. The staff are friendly and are very safety conscious.I've been doing this for quite a few years now, but bouldering is much harder, so take your time. Even I find it challenging at times.

Quiet clean new climbing gym, good alternative to Building One if you want easier grades, cleaner/newer holds, and a quieter environment. Staff are friendly. The downsides are no member self check in and so you’re often held up in a queue behind families and beginners who take ages to register and pay. Also staff let the children run wild and roll around the mats under adults who are climbing. Ultimately parents are responsible for their kids but the staff should take wall supervision seriously to ensure climbers can climb safely and kids don’t get injured by a falling person.
