The Big Kitchen

I visit this shop on my travels to work for a coffee, I chose this shop rather than the rest of the high street because the owner is very friendly, happy to converse with you, makes amazing coffees every time without fail and delicious cupcakes. It’s rarely busy when I drop by which is a shame because the shop has lots of potential and lots of goodies. Not to forget the endless amounts of baking and cake decorations. They have a range of pretty and glitter to wacky SpongeBob.

Oh my lord!!!!! The cake and bubble tea are delicious. The staff are amazing and so helpful. Will come back again soon!

Ordered product on 8/9, stated 12 in stock only to be told after enquiring when it would arrive that out of stock. Took them 6 days to let me know. What a waste of time. Wouldn't mind but asked a question about the item before ordering so could've told me then. I await my refund.

The best value coffee in Portishead imo. Good coffee, good price, friendly staff. Cup cakes are lovely and there's nice outdoor seating to the front.

Ordered a Victoria sponge cake to feed 16 people and divided it up so. Took it into High Down Infants School for the year 1 staff. Most said “I can’t eat all that!” and cut their slice in half. So it will feed more than you think (although I’m sure some came back for the second half!)The cake itself - classic Victoria sponge - with a lemon icing was probably the nicest cake I can ever remember eating. Moist and succulent, the lemon icing worked so well with the cream/strawberry jam filling. Absolutely delicious! Thank you to the baker and decorator.Because everyone has a personal opinion, I don’t normally recommend to other people but in this case I have no reservations about encouraging others to shop here, and I hope your experience is at least as good as mine.

Items I required were excellent price and including postage cheaper than the bigger cake decorating supply companies. Good communication and arrived within 2 days. Packed exceptionally well so no chance of damage would definitely use again. Plus a 10% off voucher for my next order. I shall ge looking for my Christmas supplies from them.

Avoid !! I purchased a large bowl through Etsy and was told there was a stock issue a few days later . I was offered a different size which I agreed to. However I was then given a PayPal link and told to pay money for the item through it or alternatively they could call me to take more money. I had already paid on Etsy for my item !!!
