Hell In A Cell Escape Rooms Bristol

My boyfriend and I both love escape rooms, though our success rate is not the strongest. As a horror and Halloween fanatic, this was the ideal escape room to celebrate the season. The location of the escape room itself is very fitting for the theme, hidden down an alleyway. The dark, dingy and creepy environments and atmosphere in the various rooms is top notch. Things were looking pretty dire for us in the first room. However, we slowly improved and escaped in 57 minutes. The horror elements are well executed with darkness, small spaces, handcuffs, loud noises and a great guide/actor Freddie. Freddie was awesome, treading between sinister and helpful. There were many puzzles and riddles we wouldn't have solved without his hints. Though, I think he'd agree our mathematical and quick-riddle-solving skills are much to be desired. I'd highly recommend trying Hell In A Cell for some hellish fun. Out of all the horror escape rooms we've done, this one definitely brought the horror the best. And the puzzles were fun. An amazing time! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for something a bit different and enjoy a good scare! We chose The ward escape experience, we had clear instructions at the beginning with the right mix of creepy and jumpy. We found the puzzles tricky but solveable, there were several rooms with different puzzles in each. The actors Amelia and Alex were brilliant and made you feel a nice mix of panic but were able to give clues when needed. The hour flew by! We are already planning our next trip into a different experience. We look forward to trying the executioner next time!

I just went to do an escape room with my family for my birthday it was amazing! Had the best time! The actors were amazing the instructions were clear. It was the perfect level or scary and the puzzles were challenging enough to be fun but not frustrating. We will be booking again massive thank you to Amelia and Alex brilliant acting and help. :)

I booked the hell in a cellar escape room for my friends birthday. We both love to do escape rooms based on a horror theme, so when I came across this one i knew it would be right up our street. I don’t want to give too much away, as the suspense of the unknown definitely adds to the experience. This escape room had elements we’d never had with other escape rooms, which made it more fun and a lot more tense! Freddie made the experience for us, he was a great sport, had us laughing and on edge at the same time! We left the escape room feeling a good buzz for successfully escaping and all the adrenaline from the experience. I can’t recommend enough, this one definitely tops it for us!

Would give more then 5 stars if I could. An awesome experience from start to finish!! Due to the location and entry, I thought that the experience started from before we even arrived. The suspense was excellent all the way through and even the simplest thing took us a while to figure (just making us doubt ourselves), very interactive and stimulating. Amelia and Ryder were excellent at adding the thrill to the whole experience. Would highly recommend it and may even try their other rooms.

We had a great time here! We did hell in a cellar, Freddie and Amelia were absolutely fantastic! a real credit to this place! my daughter and friend wanted to do this and I was panicking, and actually we all had a blast! would definitely recommend and come back!thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hell In A Cell deserves a solid 5/5 stars for its immersive design, challenging puzzles, and standout staff member, Freddie. The attention to detail in the room and the clever integration of puzzles made for an exhilarating experience. Freddie's exceptional service, with well-timed hints and genuine enthusiasm, added a personal touch that elevated the overall adventure. This escape room is a must-try for both the puzzle enthusiast and those seeking a memorable experience.

Went today with some friends to do the Ward which was great. Amelia was terrifying and Alex was a great host during the intro... very unnerving when she kept saying my name but was a wonderful" experience

Having done almost 200 escape rooms, this was different to anything else we have played. And we loved it! We played Hell in a Cell and The Ward. Both very different but both excellent. Games like this are only as good as the Games Masters and Freddie and Amelia were amazing!! Freddie was born to do this and made our experience stressful (as intended), exciting and really good fun. Really glad we found these rooms. Thank you for a brilliant experience

Was a really fun, tense experience - Freddie was a wonderful host (slash Murderer?) and provided a perfect balance of being intimidating yet helpful (for clues). The rooms were dark, dank and atmospheric throughout and the puzzles were *just* difficult enough to keep us engaged despite all the adrenaline!Thrill seekers: would THOROUGHLY recommend
