Not the best car park in the world, a little bumpy and with pot-holes ,,, but you get great access to this reservoir c. 7 mile walk and longer if you want to do a bigger loop.

It's paid parking, some easy walks from there. There is a cafe nearby at Llyn Brenig which is busier.

Pay and display. Couldn’t seem to work the contactless so bring coins. £2,50 all day. Great 7 mile walk or bike. No facilities.

Nice location, with an interesting dam wall, and good walking area. Car park has a parking ticket machine that only accepts coins as the credit card reader doesn’t work. Annoying as most purchases use contactless and not everyone carries cash these days.

Car park down unmade but good condition track (well signposted), probably a third of a mile off the main road. Plenty of space, and lots of useful information boards about various walks and cycle rides around Llyn Alwen.Pay and display, plenty of spaces, and easy access to the lakeside path.

Gorgeous views for the entire reservoir walk (7 mile circular or as much/little as you like, views are there from the start)£2.50 to park all day. What's not to love?!

Perfect place for walks .Around the lake there are 2 walks:Alwen lake 2,5h -3,5h or walk around 2 lakes Alwen +Llyn Brenig 4-5h.
