Outstanding meal!! very pleased with the food and the service, was driving through for business seen great reviews so popped in and I can honestly say one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in ages, highly recommend the Lamb Nihari it was magical.

Dining with The Empress of India is always a delightful culinary experience, from presentation that beams with pride to favours that tease the palate. As a great fan of desi food, I find the best indicators of how well a restaurant does its food is to always try their classics like chicken biryanis, an array of curries and how tasty their breads like peshwari naan or chapati is done. You should then ask yourself, does this food make me feel good/ create a positive affiliation with it? If the answer is yes, then you know you’re at the right place. I’ve always had that instinct with this place, which is why I frequently come back.

Amazing food and excellent service. My husband even got a dish made which wasn’t on menu as he likes very hot curries. Couldn’t fault. We had poppadoms, starters, mains, naan, coffees and drinks and were only £57

Had a lovely meal tonight, probably the best lndian cuisine l've experienced.We had (4 of us) starters and main courses which was an error purely due to the portion sizes! Huge and delicious.Attentive, friendly and efficient staff, all food came in a timely manner, no big wait or rushed.We will definitely visit again, thank you.

The interior is tastefully designed, with a perfect balance of modern and traditional elements. Soft lighting casts a warm glow throughout the space, creating a cosy and intimate setting for diners. The service quality and attentiveness of staff left a lasting impression on my dining experience. The food was beyond amazing! need to revisit and explore the rest of the menu!
