What a shame my order was cancelled by them as they will only do cupcakes for Halloween not the normal ones despite booking ahead. Halloween isn’t for everyone and the very large cakes and tray bakes they still do aren’t the same for my event, how sad

Bought a sweetie cake for my daughters birthday/baby shower. It was beautiful and tasted fabulous. This is the third cake my family have bought from here including the fruit and flowers and chocolate overload. They really have a wow reaction, if your looking for a special occasion cake then this is the place to go 5*

Had a surprise birthday cake bought from here which was absolutely delicious! Was everything I could of asked for and more, service was great as always and they even let me buy a coffee when I collected, even though they were closed!Would and will definitely order another cake for the next occasion or will pick up some goodies when we feel like cheating on our diets!

I was tempted by the beautiful cakes that were displayed in the window of The Lane Bakery. I just had to go in and I was spoilt for choice. I was particularly impressed with the Chocolate Reindeer cake. The young lady was very helpful and friendly. I chose the Salted Caramel Cheesecake for my daughter. This is the place to go If you are planning a special occasion. There are so many flavours and everything is made just for you. I hope to visit again soon.

I have bought many times slices and they were very good but bought for my best friend the Kinder overload and it was not met my expectations.it was £65 pounds cake that had so much buttercream and with addition of the kinder on the top it was too rich.You can find better quality and cheaper somewhere else for sure.

I can't resist a good doughnut and they are doing magic with theirs. The cherry bakewell was delicious and stuffed with real cherry pieces. Unfortunately I talked myself out of ordering two flavours- it's probably my only regret in life.
