What a great guy, sorted our car with minimum fuss, reccomended

I have been a customer at this garage for many years but notice now he is charging me ridiculously high prices for the most basic and simplest of jobs he carries out on my vehicle and has the bare face cheek to look me in the eyes, he must think I’m made of money, I won’t be going back there again. He needs to realise he should start looking after his regular customers or he will end up with more bad reviews like the one I have given him.

took my mini with what I was told by another mechanic was my water pump, dropped the car off, before I even got home he had found the issue and it was a quick fix was totally honest and practically didn't charge me (£20)fantastic guy and totally trustworthy 100% recommend

Very friendly and straight to the point, I have found them to be honest and go the extra mile, very fair with pricing.

He charged me £120.00 for just one litter gearbox oil. When I asked him that why you charged this price one litter oil then he said I bought from a dealer and also £20 is my charges for bringing it. I said to you should have called and asked me because I could get for cheaper. He told me I don’t have time to call you and ask you, but still he was asking me for the money and he took the money. When I asked me for the receipt then he said I can’t give you the dealer’s receipt and I told him I paid for it so you have to show me the receipt but he didn’t show me the receipt. So he is The dodgiest and worse ever mechanic. Please void this mechanic otherwise you will regret a lot like me. And you will say that why you been there. The biggest lair dodgy and disrespectful mechanic. He is just asking for cash and he need to reported to HM revenue which I am going to report him soon.

Friendly and professional garage. Sorted out my sister's Citroen c3 after another garage mechanic incorrectly fit a wheel bearing triggering malfunction of abs and performance of the car. J motors identified the issue and now working fine. Definitely recommend.

An absolutely gem of a garage. My usual place couldn't get me in but now i’m likely to change. Genuine, honest and didn’t charge for any small bits of work. Its been 2 separate occasions and they did the job there and then. These guys really know their craft. Its situated in a run down part of town but don’t let that put you off. Great service.

Good mechanics and reasonable price for labour and parts as well

So I’ve only ever given about six reviews in my life I think this is the seventh I just wanna take a time out to explain my experience with J motors I seen the mechanic yesterday and asked him to have a look at my car he asked me to bring the car down first thing in the morning which I thought was fantastic getting it in so early I’ve got the car down today and he diagnosed the fault and had it repaired within ONE hour when I went to collect the car I was that happy with the service I’ve asked him to full fully service my car which he has done it all in the same day! i’ve just returned home and the car feels brand-new thank you so much I’ve even booked in to have my water pump done with him and he’s Evan got that booked in to do within 7 days. service is absolutely fantastic I’ve used plenty of garages and I have finally found my go to garage don’t give it a miss!Edited review: the lady behind the counter is lovely too customer service is a1 Thank youEdited after water pump:Got my car back today and it’s absolutely sound as a pound this garage really makes a difference thank you mate! Customer service is a1 and work is unbelievable and quick my engine literally looks brand new.. they have serviced it, done track rod end, and fitted a brand new water pump and every bit of work has being bang on. He Evan gave me a service book, stamped it and made me aware of my next service and what to look out for. They actually care unlike other garages! Take my word…. I’ve visited many many garages and this is by far the best. Cheers
