Friendly, quick and professional service. They came round within a few hours of me calling (the council wanted us to wait 1 month and it would have cost us exactly the same!). Fingers crossed we won't need the service again, but if we do then we know who to call!

Without Matt's professional and impartial advice, the main drain out of our house would have been blocked by soil.A recurring hole at the bottom of a hedge at the front of the house had been treated 2x by Company 'A' for rodent infestation and backfilled with soil. After each treatment, the hole had reappeared (c. 5 weeks).I then tried Hawthorn. On seeing the hole (which had gotten larger), Matt advised that it was unlikely to be rats - more likely we had a potentially larger problem, which should be investigated fully. To confirm his gut assessment, Matt returned with a short camera scope. He determined that the hole was very unlikely to have been a rats nest or made by rats. With the nightmare of a sinkhole in mind I called in an organisation to do a full-indepth inspection with a long camera scope. They located the original Victorian main drain. After having the ground in front of the hedge dug up the original drain topped with a York paving slab was uncovered. When a new wall had been build, the paving slab had been compromised. Heavy rain had found the gap in the slab and washed out soil into the drain, nearly 1.5metres below current surface. No-one had any idea it was there. It has now been fully built up and topped with an inspection lid. Thanks Matt!
