Amazing Sunday dinner, first visit since the takeover and makeover.On entry friendly staff, drinks were very good! Sunday Roast was absolutely superb, in fact one of the best Sunday dinners we have experienced. The Desert was also amazing, very tasty! Keep up the good work and friendly service! See you in two weeks as re booked another visit.Highly recommended to anyone wanting great food and service with a friendly atmosphere.Regards Clayton and Clare

The stag is a gorgeous gem in Norfolk to eat, drink and socialise. The interior is beautiful, and the service was top tier, Alex really looked after us and made sure we were having a great time. The food is amazing, unintentionally having 3 courses every time we’ve been because it’s so good! I can’t recommend this place enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Was worth waiting to get in for! Transformation is very tastefully done..Beautiful family dinner everybody’s food was delicious- service with a smile and attentive to everyone’s needs - menu was just right not too much choice but was still hard to pick! Will have to go again then! - superb job all round thank you to all the staff

Cosy pub with superb food and great service. The decor is stunning, giving a warm, welcoming feel, and all the staff are really friendly and attentive. The Manager, Alex, went to great lengths to run through the menu with personal recommendations, and checked ingredients of every dish with the chef to cater for allergies. Portions are generous and we definitely left feeling happy!

We had a fantastic lunch at the Stag. Warm and friendly service with a very decent chef cooking his take on the traditional pub food options. I would recommend the game suet pudding.

Myself and my partner nipped in for a quick drink on the way home for the 1st time since its had its make over. And its definitely looking nicer. Same friendly welcome and warm feeling with a touch of feeling at home. Can't say much about the food as we didn't eat but it definitely smells nice as its what you are welcomed with when you make your entrance. I look forward to our next quick drink and maybe one day we will order some food.

Stunning pub with beautiful decor. Food is 10/10 amazing, the Sunday roast dinners are the best you will get in miles, and the pizzas made in the pizza ovens are definitely top tier. The food is very beautifully and uniquely presented, and you can tell a lot of care went in to each and every dish. The menu has very clearly been well thought out, offering a wide variety of different food. The staff are so friendly and professional, and they treat everyone like a family as soon as they walk in the door. Everyone is welcome and there is such a nice vibe around the pub. Everywhere is super clean and tidy. Definitely very impressed with the new pub and will definitely become a regular. Well done everyone involved! Xx

A wonderful unique pub, with a great atmosphere, always greeted by attentive staff namely a chap called Alex . The food is well thought out for a small pub giving plenty of options and the portions sizes are filling (even for a larger man) A good selection of beers including 0% but could be a few more.A nice addition is that they have a lovely pizza oven where you can see your pizzas being made and cooked. I had a young chap called Owen made me a pizza and it was traditional style.My only gripe is no bar snacks but food is served from 12-8:30

We have visited the Stag on 3 occasions to eat since they have been open & each meal has been consistently good.There is a pleasant ambiance and it makes a change to have real locals at a food driven pub. The staff are professional friendly and well trained. The food is reasonably priced, tasty and varied. There is also a beer garden out the back. All the best to all involved
