Stay well away with your cherished toys and don't sign anything.I had taken my dinky matchbox and scalextric cars for a valuation and ended up having to leave them because they didn't do it there and then but signed an agreement which is binding you to them and puts your property in the next sale after some time I got estimates price's and only then realised how low they were and tried to withdraw them but it was to late there were penalties for doing that and no reserves price. I withdraw some of my car's that I thought were under valued but when I picked them up and took them home and inspected them the higher value one were not mine they had been swapped.By this point I'd give up with no photos to prove my claim I waited for the auction and of course was disappointed with the result car that in there words would do £50 all day " didn't by the time I got my money and fee's taken for withdrawn items it was disappointing to say the least.Fortunately I still have some car's and sorely wish I had even thought of selling them."

Was a perfect experience as I've never been to an auction house before. leaving the items to sell a seamless job and once appraised we gained an email as to lots/estimated price and when the auction would be.

Won 2 auctions a month ago paid for them immediately and no communication about shipment or answers to my emails. Not fair service.

Rubbish. You send items to be appraised, before you know it, and without signing any agreement with them, they take your items, sell them cheaply on eBay. When you ask them to stop, they hold your items ransom by saying you owe them all the lost sale fees. What a con. I could’ve sold my items myself on eBay. Do not use this so called auction centre - or if you do, go in with your eyes open, and don’t expect to get anywhere near the value of your items.

We took quite a lot of various toys up for the first time an we were not disappointed. The office staff were absolutely amazing and nothing was to much trouble for them. They gave us lots of advice and tips. They sorted everything out, put it all in separate lots for us and sold everything. The money was in our account very quickly too. We literally dropped everything off and they done the rest. Also very good communication through emails. We will definitely be taking a trip back very soon! We can’t thank them enough for all their hard work.

The Auction Centre is an excellent Auction House, in a pleasant, un-crowded setting . There is easy free parking when attending and collecting. It is important to note that this mainly consists of a flat, even level, making access easy. There are neither stairs nor obstruction to ones' entrance. A vibrant atmosphere prevails from whence you enter Reception and thereon in. Unsurpassable service is offered by all of the Staff from Reception to the Porters, right through to the Auctioneers. In-depth advice can be further given, during valuation of your item(s) Also, The Auction Centre can obtain assessments of items from Specialists should the need arise. Ones' particular experience was of having Musical Instruments valued, A fair and realistic valuation was agreed and the items sold at Auction. Overall a thoroughly pleasant experience. I would recommend the viewing day on the eve of the Auction and attendance of the Auction in person. Thank you for reading this review.

Friendly staff, helpful, only criticism I have is if you buy something you have to pay and collect in 48 hours but if you sell something you don't get paid for 4 weeks, a bit naughty that

Have bought frequently from this auction centre and have never been disappointed with either the price I paid or the quality of the items I purchased, a special mention must go to the office staff who are always courteous, professional and will always do their best to help customers wherever possible.

As a whole, individually and as a company, a great service has been provided from the collection, the valuation and the sale of the goods. The process has been seamless without any problems or unexpected surprises.The whole company gives an exceptionally good level of personal customer service.Communication is of a very high standard, from my end as a customer, I was constantly kept informed of updates and how events were progressing.I would highly recommend The Auction Centre Runcorn to anyone who is looking to auction goods. You will receive good value, good service and a very happy and well organised company that works for you.
