The pastries are delicious, savory just as well as the sweet ones. The pistachio lemon and rose cake is a very special delicacy. The coffee on the other hand was a bit too sour, not quite my taste. But the pastries make up for it a 100 times.

Gorgeous little cafe, with so much choice of savoury and sweet pastries. If I had been in the area for longer definitely would of tried more. Only reason for not 5 stars is long black was a bit weak for me. So if your used to an Aussie long black, maybe ask for an extra shot

This place was super cute! They even had oatly! One of my favorite oatmilk’s. The lattes were great and came out fast. The baked goods were excellent. I had the quiche and the hot cross bun and my husband had the almond croissant and lemon tea cake. All of them were delicious! I also liked that they had overnight oats and yogurt, parfait options, and a nice variety of juices as well. This is a great spot to stop for breakfast. Will definitely be back again.

I have bought bread at Gail's for quite an awhile now and love the fact that they offer to slice it for you; it's a unique quality, which I have grown to appreciate. I went into the Gail's on Gloucester Road at 2:50 one day this week. The shop was empty apart from a couple of customers sitting at the tables. No queue and definitely not busy. I got a loaf of sourdough and asked the person who was behind the counter if I could have it sliced. The answer I got almost floored me..... He couldn't slice it because he couldn't slice bread after 2 pm!! I was a bit surprised at this as I've bought bread at other Gail's Bakeries at later times than that and having it sliced was never an issue. I checked with their customer's service and another Gail's just in case I wasn't aware of a new' slicing policy', and was told that this is simply not true! Will I continue to buy bread at Gail's? Sure, but I'll keep well away for this branch!

Loving their coffee and sweet treats, especially cinnamon buns and a blueberry brioche! Really nice that they’ve got quite a few tables to sit inside.

Perfect Flat White. However, I didn’t like the Egg Soufflé Sandwich it was tasteless, and the croissant is oily.

Terrible, utterly rude and disappointing customer service, in the first instance, the cashier looked me straight in the face(he seemed emotionless, tired, deflated and unmotivated) and served the person who came into the store after I did, i.e., she was behind me in the queue. Then while I was waiting for my coffee in the second queue, the barista (a small white male with a clear and irritating Spanish accent) served a different woman (behind me in the queue) before he did me.When I pointed out that I was before her, the barista said: it does not matter"

I recommend the bakery. There were many options for baked goods to suit everyone. I loved the cinnamon rolls and I tried the hot chocolate. It was nice but tends to be more bitter for those who like this type of it.
