Their love for dogs, and the passion they have to make both owners and dogs successful, and change their lives is astounding.Matt and the team possesses extensive knowledge of dog behavior. They are attentive, professional and skilled at recognizing what is needed to help you and your dog succeed in your relationship.They have helped me work through issues with my dog that is extremely fearful, aggressive and doesn’t listen to me. I cannot express enough how thankful I am to have found them. Their patience, dedication and willingness to fix any issues you have with your dog is phenomenal. They are invested in your success which is something you really do not often find in the dog training community.With their training, be it online or in person, they can do the work and get excellent result. And the support you get even after your session/training with them is unbelievable. We sourced our beautiful springer spaniel back in 2016 from Matt and team. Emily is now nearly nine and she’s been our family dog now for over seven years. Emily is and always has been an amazing dog. She travels well in cars and on public transport. She’s calm in the office she lies under my desk and people don’t even know she’s there. She’s very well behaved accompanying me on numerous holidays. She’s everything Matt said she would be and more. I was promised a “go anywhere” dog and that’s exactly how Emily is. Matt has been on hand for any advice over the years and has always shown an interest in how Emily is getting along. I’d recommend WKD dogs to anyone.

This is an ongoing process. I could not be more grateful to WKD and their team. Brilliant customer service. My boys are WKD proof that their training is the best and have recommended WKD to many dog walkers.

A week's stay proved very beneficial to my friend's dog, made a difference to her recall and manners. I came to pick the dog up in person and received handover training, and we discussed options like remote vibrating training collar for her. As for facilities, the kennels are clean and there was a lot of acreage for the dog training. The staff are also nice people, dedicated to the dogs.

Bottom line up front we would, and have, recommended WKD dogs to friends.We picked WKD because we desperately wanted a dog but knew a puppy wasn’t an option at the time and having a young dog with good basic training matched to us sounded ideal.In all honesty our experience wasn’t totally smooth but, from the very beginning, we have loved our WKD dog, Lupa, to the ends of the earth. She perhaps wasn’t quite as “advertised” (unfortunately she does have prey drive - squirrels, cats, sheep and deer are all very much triggers and this has caused us a few problems - some more significant than others - along the way) but ultimately she remains a truly lovely natured dog and in all other respects very well trained.Matt and his team were really good and supportive both before and after we got Lupa. Moreover, when the degree of Lupa’s prey drive became apparent once she settled in at home they were very helpful and very open to working with us to find the best solution for both us and Lupa. Nearly 2 years later and Lupa still, and always will, want to chase, but having worked and bonded thoroughly with her and carried on her training from the excellent basis she already had from WKD it’s not something we would call a “problem” - just a character quirk… and we know when to be careful and what precautions to take around the neighbours’ cats(!)Overall we think of Lupa as a 1-in-a-million dog, she has the best personality and despite her slightly unexpected “quirk” we love her to bits and would definitely consider a return to WKD dogs in the future.

Matt and team provided us with a stunning springer spaniel, Beano, last year. He is everything they promised us and more- brilliant at home, in the car, in the town, in the wild, in company, with children of all ages and with other animals. Recall is terrific. Cannot fault him. He travels very well, settles wherever we stay and is excellent company. He has brought us all so much joy!Matt and team offered full support throughout and we knew that we could rely on them if any issues were to arise, once Beano was home. Delighted to say, there were none.We keep in touch with WKD to update them on Beano's travels. An excellent team of dedicated and very knowledgeable people who are passionate about their work.

We took our GSD, Bear to Matt having flunked a prestigious dog training school in Berkshire and him even defying an expensive dog psychologist. We had already spent thousands on training and leads etc before taking him to WKD. Bear had no bite inhibition due to being isolated from the litter at 5 weeks because of illness and though not aggressive was mouthing and growing huge - he had become a handful! He had also had surgery for hip dysplasia and I was a nervous wreck releasing him to Matt's care.Matt was great with Bear and also with us! He even kept him in his own home during his stay which I think was more for my anxiety than Bear's!Not only did he teach him things that all else had failed to do, he allowed him to remember that he was a dog, something we were forgetting to do because of his history. Often, dog people are not 'people' people, and Matt is both. He rehabilitated us as much as he helped Bear overcome his insecurities and helped us realise what Bear was expecting from us as pack leaders. Bear loved Matt and you could tell by the way he responded when he saw him again for his review.Yes, things slipped a little after several weeks at home but, at no extra cost, Matt made the long journey to see him in his own environment and what he (and WE) were doing differently.I appreciated the way Matt took the time and effort, both in person and over the phone, to assist us. There was never any inconvenient time to ask for advice. He is knowledgeable, trustworthy and very passionate about dogs and in our experience, goes above and beyond to help.We will be returning soon with our younger dog who has become reactive and competitive. Today I brought home an English pointer from WKD , named piper, as soon as he entered my home it was as if he had always been here, the whole family are In love with him and so are all my dogs. He’s been as good as gold, we could not ask for anything better. Would 100% recommend.

On a random Sunday I decided to go see Dexter and it was love at first sight! They helped me find a friend for life and helped Dexter find a loving home! Everyone was really nice there and really helpful and did not make giving a dog a home hard work, unlike other experiences I’ve had in the past! Such a friendly bunch, would definitely recommend giving them a visit if you’re looking to give a pup a forever home ❤️

After three months of care, Carter is now making excellent progress.He was a very nervous little boy but is now showing his true character. We have had a DNA test done and can confirm his real identity as a Cavapoo. Thank you WKD for rescuing him and allowing him into our lives. He now has a stable forever loving home.Steven Bailey
