I can’t recommend Emma enough, she is extremely knowledgable and experienced in dog training and behaviours. I just wish I had come to Emma first and saved myself time and money on previous dog trainers. My dachshund is now muzzle trained, sleeping happily in her own bed, calmer being left alone and just generally a happier and more confident dog. I now have all the tools and understanding to know how to keep my dog safe from all situations and understand my dogs needs, likes and dislikes.Go with Emma at Priestlands Dogs, you won’t regret it!!

We have a very energetic Dobermann, who has a huge prey drive. His recall was not good at all, and we needed to fix that for his safety as well as being an obedient dog! We tried so many tricks nothing worked. Then finally came across Em, who was absolutely amazing!! After 6 weeks of training with Em, our Delboy is a totally different dog! So so good! WE always get compliments on his excellent behaviour by others when out, and it’s all thanks to the wonderful Em. Highly recommend!

Emma is a miracle worker. My rescue dog was reactive to everything esp other dogs and stressed out all the time. Now I have a calm, off lead dog who is starting to really enjoy her walks and her life with us. Thank you so much Emma for helping us to achieve the happiness little Bitsy deserves. Highly recommend Emma!

We contacted Emma as we got our puppy, best thing we ever did, sat down chatted about our reasons for having a dog and Emma gave us advice, followed up with detailed notes. I cannot recommend this enough, we have the happiest content puppy ever, doesn't bite, house trained in a couple of days and all due to the guidance from Emma !

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Emma, she has now worked with Rae to create a perfect dog off the lead, she is calmer, she stays closer, she is capable of having squirrels and deer walk nearby and not charge off. A real transformation. She was staring down the barrel of being on a long lead forever as she used to charge off for 10 minutes at a time which for a Great Dane is not great. She is now completely in control. Emma lives and breathes dogs and gets them, you immediately feel like you are in good hands. Thanks

Emma has been a fantastic help to me and my dog Sam. She has sorted out the problems we had with lead walking and with Sam wandering away when off lead. Our walks are now so much calmer and enjoyable. Emma is a great source of information and guidance on how to be a good dog owner which gave me confidence and encouragement to do the right thing for my dog. I would highly recommend Emma to anyone who needs a great trainer to help them with their dog.

Discovering Emma has saved our 2-year old Flatcoat from a lifetime of lead walks and us many years of misery. Her “prey drive” was so strongly developed by this Spring that we had to take action. Emma is great to deal with, extremely professional and immediately made us feel confident that she could help and help she has! We are extremely grateful, Nancy’s recall is now exceptional and she can be a few feet away from a deer and look the other way! Extraordinary! Thank you so much Emma for making lovely woodland walks enjoyable again.

We went to Emma having more or less tried every other possible way of training and ultimately getting our dog to listen to us. I cannot begin to do justice the transformation it has had on all of our lives now we are through the training and 6 months on. Our dog is now off the lead, under control and the happiest he has never been. He is free to roam and we can now hold a coffee whilst being lead free! It was 100% the best decision we ever made to push through with this type of training and I couldn’t recommend it more!

Emma is absolutely wonderful. Working with her has been an amazing experience. We have only had two sessions with her so far and it has made a massive difference to ours and our dogs life. I would recommend her to any dog owner. I can't wait for future sessions with her.We have a fear reactive dog who cannot be around other dogs. On day two I was walking her side by side with Emma's own dog. I didn't think I could ever achieve that, let alone on day two.

A few months ago, I thought my dog was condemned to a life of never being able to be off lead, unless he was in an incredibly secure environment. He was permanently over-stimulated, like a toddler who’d been let loose in a sweet shop, and was indiscriminate in the animals he’d chase - if it moved at any pace above a gentle trot, he’d be after it. It was terrifying to watch, knowing I could do nothing and he was a genuine risk to himself, other dogs, people and animals. Having worked with several other trainers with very limited or no success, I finally found Emma and my only wish is that I’d met her sooner. She’s not only trained my dog but she’s also trained me, helping me to better understand my dog, his behaviours and how to adapt my own to support him. From forever trying to avoid every trigger, my boy is now relaxed on his walks and is so much safer and, most importantly, happier. I can’t thank Emma enough.
