A Touch Of Colour

Great experience with Terry and his team. I would recommend to friends and use them again without hesitation.Quality work, friendly, responsible and efficient.

This is the second time we have had Terry and the Touch of Colour team to paint our home. We asked them to paint the interior of our new house before we moved in, and they completed the job on time and with fantastic attention to detail. After the great job they have done, I don't expect we'll need them again for a while, but they will definitely get a call if so... I'd thoroughly recommend them.

We met Terry when we used his company to paint a few of our rooms. I was impressed with his professionalism, timing and quality of the work as well as the value. A while later we decided to renovate our kitchen and needed plumbers, electricians etc. I called Terry and asked him if he would consider ''project managing'' everything for me including finding the right people for the job. We also needed our walls in our kitchen and bedroom to be sound insulated as well as one of our floors in the converted loft room to be insulated as the original job had not been done well. Terry was ''on it'' from the start. He was always available to talk to me, came round to our house to meet with the kitchen fitters and, after that, communicated with them directly. When it came to quotes, he was incredibly transparent with what he was charging us and how much each supplier was charging us. Whenever I called to ask him questions he was almost always one step ahead and, if he didn't know, he would come back to me really quickly. When the work started the guys worked really hard and everything was done quickly and efficiently. The sound insulation didn't really work the first time and Terry was really good in listening to my feedback and putting in another layer of insulation. The only feedback I would have is that, when it came to the last few bits and pieces to be done, I think things could have been done a bit quicker but this is only a really small niggle in the grand scheme of things. We are really happy with our kitchen and would be really happy to recommend Terry and of any of the suppliers he used (plumbers and electricians).

We asked Terry to redecorate our new house and he did a very good job considering his quote was half of some others. His team was very friendly and provided extra help during the job such as moving radiators and fixing plugs, which wasn’t initially agreed. There were few hiccups, but Terry made sure to comeback until we were fully satisfied. Would recommend!

I would not hesitate to recommend Terry's services. Pricing was reasonable, and we booked him at short notice, and he was able to start work promptly. There were a few bits (painting) which were not done to our satisfaction (possibly due to the poor light in the winter), and each time Terry was made aware of this, he had his colleague come over the next day to rectify the problem. Terry himself is very easy to deal with, and I was felt assured, whatever we requested would have been completed. The job required was to paint a living room and touch up sections of the kitchen. Really great experience with Terry and his team. Brilliant prep work which made sure we got a great finish on some quite unloved walls and woodwork. On time, really professional and understanding with us changing paint colours. Highly recommend.
