Maureen is simply amazing. We had the absolute pleasure to have her as our photographer at our elopement to the Outer Hebrides . Maureen made us feel so relaxed, and was extremely knowledgeable and receptive to what we wanted from our day. The photos that she took are unreal and far surpassed our expectations. We would have no hesitation in recommending Maureen to anyone, she is at different level!!

Maureen is the most amazing person you could possibly get to photograph your wedding! She is unbelievably talented (you just need to look at some of her photos to see that) but she is also an incredible person - which is super important when you are planning one of the biggest ceremonies/celebrations of your life! She and Chris produced incredible images of our wedding that we will cherish forever (not super surprising since they are so talented). They were also very knowledgeable and prepared about shooting in Scotland (which is very necessary - the weather and terrain can be something difficult to deal with). But what you may not fully understand from her website and Instagram, Facebook, etc is that they are beautiful humans that were such a great addition to our wedding, I wish I had just invited them anyway! They both felt like long-lost friends, making us feel at ease in front of the camera (which we are not usually!) and even made the whole thing fun! Which is incredible! I can't recommend Maureen enough! She and Chris were so perfect, I feel like I won a wedding lottery!Thank you so much for Maureen for being such an amazing part of the biggest day of our lives (so far)! My partner and I loved working with Maureen. The end result is breathtaking photos with a beautiful cinematic feel to them plus an epic video with drone footage to boot! But most importantly, we loved working with Maureen on the day. She was so calm, flexible and fun; it felt like we had known her much longer than we had which is so important on a wedding day as you spend a lot of time together. She was also really imaginative in where to go for photos (we hadn't thought about this much) and was great at guiding us through it all with such warmth and patience, which we needed.Would highly recommend and thank you so much Maureen for everything. When I was looking for an adventure elopement wedding photographer earlier this year, I read through the previous reviews and can confirm they are all true about Maureen.She shot our lovely elopement on North Uist, showing us around the island and found all the amazing spots we shot our photos and film for the occasion. Through out the day, Maureen was so calm and diligent. Her approach was exactly as everyone has described below. Making people who are uncomfortable in front a camera feel relaxed and captured the little details, which make you relive each moment again. It is honestly an understatement to say she take photos, as what she truly does is capture feelings. Thank you so much again Maureen for helping us make our special day an ever lasting memory we can share with others.

As soon as we came across Maureen's photography, we knew she would be perfect for our wedding. She captured every essence of our day beautifully - from the tiny detail of our creations through to our loved ones having fun. We will cherish the wonderful memories through her photography forever. We hired Maureen to take photos at our wedding and we really couldn't recommend her services enough. She was so easy and friendly to work with both in the build up to the day and throughout the day itself. Clearly highly experienced, she had a lot of great suggestions for capturing the perfect shots and is also very tasteful with them in post production. She has captured the feel of the day perfectly and we were absolutely thrilled looking back at them all. We also really loved the slideshow that she had made for us.All in all, can't recommend Maureen enough! Fantastic value for the price as well.

Rating Maureen 5 Stars and telling that she's an amazing photographer feels like an understatement. We could not feel luckier to have found her. I've been admiring her work for a long time and always loved her artistic ways of capturing moments that feels raw, natural, beautiful and unpolished ( I mean this in the best of ways). As soon as I first spoke to her I knew she's the right one- It was very important for us to involve people we know and feel connected to- I felt the connection with Maureen just by exchanging email and meeting them for the first time felt very natural - Maureen and Chris felt like a friend we never met.They are also one of the loveliest, kindest, most genuine people and truly a joy to spend time and get to know with. you will also feel at ease and like going for a nature walk with your friends during your photo session. Professionally speaking, they know what they're doing and you barely noticed them taking photos at all! A dream team that work together really well! They get the job done but they don't forget to have fun which I think is really important. Our photos are so beautifully captured with many emotions and moments we will cherish and look back on to.Thank you both so much for everything <3

Its so refreshing to work alongside such an inspired soul, Maureen so evidently has an incredible passion for her work and photographs the true heart of marrying wild and free. Its a privilege to know such a free photographer who sees not only the beauty in something, but the true story in it too! We eloped to The Isle of Harris, just us and our 2 dogs. We got married super early in the morning on the beach, and none of this was a problem for Maureen.She is a super friendly, talented professional who made us feel fully at ease.
