MILK: Inverleith Coffee Shack

I was very disappointed today when I asked the person serving if I could have some water for our dog who was panting heavily. They bluntly told me that they didn’t have enough water to be able to do that. Considering that most of their customers are dog walkers in Inverleith park this was a poor show! They also only had over an hour to closing time so I am sure that they could have spared 1/2 a cup of water for our dog. My self and my family will not be giving them any more custom from us!

Discovered this hut open on New Years morning. Great coffee and a friendly face. Just what you needed.

Good coffee. One man operation (naturally) so expect queues on sunny days!

Great cappuccino and tasty cakes. Worth the extra wait!

Good bakes but the coffee was burnt and watery. This was my third attempt to get coffee from here and it will be the last.

A useful addition to the Park, but it is only there in the Summer, and is now called the Milk Bar. Open from 1st March and a more permanent structure than the horse box in 2018.

I was queued up to be served with my dog and was talking to the person before me - he got served and it was my turn and the chap decided to ignore me serve the customer after me , who pointed that I was waiting too. The chap was clearly racist and decided to have this disgusting attitude when serving me. He just chucked the coffee cup at me . I did give him my piece of my mind and said he has to change his attitude. He then thank the lady after me for waiting and apologised to her for the delay . Clearly his manners suddenly turned warm serving a white person. Annoying cheeky sod who is clearly thinks he is done well in life working in a coffee kiosk in a park. He needed educating as seems spending his life in a box making coffee hasn’t been good for him . Also May be he realises he is a complete failure in life and being rude to people gives him that sense of false vanity .

Good coffee, some interesting cakes (including a vegan option) and even liver cake for the dogs. Something for everyone - and especially welcome on a dreich day.
