Beautiful really old church. Lovely reredos. Great choir. Still have choral evensong - with an anthem every week. Old pews. Ornate screening separating chancel from nave.

The photograph of the plaque over the side door at Wigan parish church is there to commemorate the battle of Wigan lane between the round heads and the cavaliers in the 17/18 century!The art shop is in halgate down the side of the crofters arms off market Street in Wigan town centre.

Never been here but I do like the sound of the bells that ring during the day at different times and I like the clock face as well handy for seeing what time it is aswell
