Willingham auctions

Had a drink here last Saturday evening around 8pm as part of a ‘pub crawl’ of Willingham (there’s only 3 bars in the village!) on the way back from its village beer festival.The staff and service were friendly, welcoming and excellent (Mother and daughter pair - Netty and Ketzia, who’d both been working there since breakfast at 0900), the drinks selection available was good and reasonably priced.It’s a lovely looking converted barn building with many original features and a huge outdoor seating area that would be fabulous on a sunny summers day (unfortunately it was raining for us).However, the main bar area is lacking any kind of ambience or atmosphere - I think it just needs some low volume pleasant ‘vibe’ music to fill the cavernous space with. Just some light jazz, or ‘Ibiza sunset’ style chilled tunes.Other than that, a nice place for a nice drink in a nice Cambs village.

Great value lunchtime fare. Very friendly and efficient staff too.

The food is amazing, such a lovely place to pop out for a meal and. drink. The staff are so friendly plus the service is so quick and efficient. Will definitely be visiting often.

What a great place to eat. We had the Ploughman's Lunch. Incredible. Staff very friendly & helpful. Thoroughly recommend this place to eat.

Had a family brunch here. Loved the eggs Benedict... three different types were had. Dog friendly, service good. Plenty of parking available. Added bonus ... Browsing the items coming up for auction afterwards.

Great selection of quality garden furniture at a good price and BBQ equipment, friendly service. Highly recommended.

The food is very good the staff are fantastic

I met a friend for lunch. The cafe is bright and cheerful, with nice staff and a good cafe menu and delicious cakes. Today I had a baked potato with a generous filling of chicken, bacon with tarragon mayonnaise and a salad garnish. My friend had the vegetarian quiche and salad. Both meals were very tasty, generous portions and reasonably priced. We sat inside but there is outdoor seating too.

Amazing coffee.Amazing cakes.Eaten here before. The beef sandwich was not great as beef was over cooked.But the cakes are amazing

Bid, buy, fail, eat sausage-rolls, drink tea...Then.. browse the garden / cooking / BBQ ranges...It's all veah middle-class :)
