Extremely pleased with Motorpoint Castleford and its great staff. The service was excellent and stress free, from the moment we stepped inside to view a car we had seen online, to collecting that car a week later. I was given the option to collect the same day, however, I don’t live in the area so needed longer to prepare my trade in. Stuart was a great help, very friendly and I didn’t feel like I was under any obligation to buy. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Stuart called the day before the collection to make sure everything was in place, then I collected the car and finished the process with the lovely Leah who was a great help. I had a quick query and dealt with Jack later on collection day and he was helpful too.I really appreciate the stress free process! I love my new car. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

The after care sales from Motorpoint is terrible, and resulted in the small claims court process being used. I purchased a car and within one week returned with brake issues. We were informed there was no issue and it just needed to be driven further. Brake issues continued and we returned for a second time with the same issue after a few months, to be informed the same thing. The issue continued to worsen, resulting in us returning on a third occasion. We were made to wait over an hour to see a manager, to then be told she was not in the office that day. We returned a fourth time when the manager was in, to be told the issue was not their responsibility and if we wanted to escalate further it would need to be raised to Doncaster Dispute Resolution. During this period the car became unsafe to drive and a third party was contracted to fix the issue with the brakes. The third party was very supportive and documented a full report of the issue for the small claims court process. Motorpoint finally admitted liability on the issue. No concern of customer after care, respect, or safety. I am very concerned how they would treat other customers facing similar issues that would not know how to handle a dispute like this. I would not recommend this business.

Terrible service!Drove 2 hours after making appointment to view a car that we pit a deposit on . Had to wait 30 minutes past our appointment staff didn’t seem to care .Once we got to view the car it had lots of over spray on the bonnet / door and was not very presentable dirty even tho it was on the shop floor . The said they would get it sorted .Electric car with only 30 mile charge left even tho they new we were come a 100 mile So we had to sit at McDonald’s and charge it ourselves.Parts fell off the car on the way home .They booked it to sort over spay and parts falling off but we had to take it .Picked up still Got over spay on it soHad to go back to be re done .Car definitely NOT had had its multi point check .Customer service very rude and in helpful .Avoid

I got a car around 4 months ago from thr Castleford branch and the service received from Marcin was amazing , he emplained all and made me feel at ease with everything. My daughter wanted a car so as we received a great service from Marcin it was a no brainer to go back to him to get one for her. She found what she wanted and was through Marcin but this one was at the Widnes branch. Marcin helped with this one and sorted it all out for us. We went to collect the car and Luke at the Widnes branch took over from Marcin to do the handover and finalise all. Luke was also very helpful and made the handover a feel ease process. Will definitely be going back to see Marcin when we want to change our car. Thank you Marcin and thank you Luke.

Bought a blue cupra from here today and you know what?I have never in my life felt so appreciative of the service I received at this dealership.I have recently suffered heart problems in the midst of the purchasing process of this vehicle and Tom the manager and Stuart the sales associate have made me feel so welcome and tried to help it be the most stress free transaction even though some complications were out of there control.They looked after me with ill health today in the dealership due to after suffering some unexpected shock causing heart palpitations and constantly checked on me and made sure I was comfortable and okay throughout the entire process.This causes them to stay over closing time and I'm so sorry for that and appreciate it more than you know.They have also gone to lengths to make sure things have gone right for me as the car had been to a out of company shop for repair on the wheel bearings before sale and come back with a few scrapes it didn't have on initial test drive.They weren't aware if this was there beforehand as they hadn't inspected much before outsourcing however, they took my word and got there lads to polish most of it out and get the car sparkling and also provided a discount to make up for the damage to get the body resprayed if I chose to.Ive never had a dealership be so thoughtful and kind, usually it's all about money and once they've got it it's goodbye and good riddance.Thank you Tom, Stuart and your team for looking after me today I really appreciate it.Furthermore, thank you Marcin for the chat and booking my initial test drive of the vehicle it's a shame we couldn't have more dealings in this sale as I enjoyed talking cars with you and having a chat outside of money and sales and I must say this friendliness is what led me to come buy this vehicle from Motorpoint Castleford.

Visited today as I'm looking for an automatic car. Really happy with the service, we asked to look at a number of cars and the guy who approached us was really helpful, polite and not at all pushy. Sorry we didn't get his name!Disappointed I didn't find quite what I wanted but I won't hesitate to visit again if I find another car I'm interested in.Great that the dealership offers water and drinks, also free sanitary products in the female toilets - excellent!

I purchased a car back in June, the sales service at the point of purchase was excellent so I purchased.One of the tyres was flat but was assured all would be sorted it 2 days when collecting. The 'engineer' merely pumped up the tyre (turned out to be a faulty valve'). Not a good start but only a minor hiccup.The main issue was aftersales, I paid for dashcams, which are fitted by a 3rd party. This 3rd party company never contacted me and never sent me them or fitted them. I contacted the motorpoint salesman numerous times over a 3 month period, he ceased replying to me when I requested a refund.I was forced to go to Motorpoint head office to resolve the issue, all in all I felt let down. The impression I got was they just want your money, aftersales is an afterthought.

Excellent service from Macin. Went to look.at a car having been elsewhere to find the sales exec too pushy. Macin was extremely helpful even advising on other cars available which weren't in the pitch. Test drove 2 before I settled on my new car. There were a couple of issues on collection day which I hadn't picked up on at the 1st visit due to poor weather conditions. However these were quickly rectified and returned 24 hours to collect. Drove away extremely happy.

Recently sorted a car (PCP) off them and traded mine in and on day two it needed lifting back to them to fit a new gearbox. No courtesy car offered. No reimbursement offered.They told me they would call me with more information the same day. It's now two days later and haven't heard back. Tried to get through to them and was waiting 15minutes before I gave up.Now I've given them my car and alot of money and am now getting the train to work. Not on at all.
