Durham Blinds

I work for the supplier which suffered badly in hands of this owner and feel sorry for customers who fell into the trap of this business owner. This business owner owes thousands of £ to various suppliers, he goes around measuring blinds, taking orders and taking the deposits from clients. However, he doesn’t pay the suppliers, customers are waiting, he makes lies after lies: family issues, relatives deaths, suppliers bankruptcy and so on…Now our business refused to serve him due to the outstanding debt and we are preparing the debt collection action. Please BE AWARE, your money are at risk.

This is the second house that Andrew has done the blinds for and we are super happy as always with the result! Came to measure and had them made and fitted a week later! Would highly recommend his services. Thank you!

Had a quote 9th Jan, told 1/2 weeks till fitting. Had to contact twice, finally fitted feb 2nd. When blinds are closed there are noticeable gaps. Very cheap looking, could have bought a set from Argos and done a better job myself tbf. Rang for someone to come and check them today, as these were for my mum I wasn’t present. Apparently visit lasted 5 mins, she was told to just close them the other way. Meaning she can’t see out of the window. Mum is housebound so not helpful at all. These are verticals and very narrow which is obv why when closed they don’t offer full privacy. Isn’t this the point of blinds?? Wish we’d gone elsewhere now. Obv customer satisfaction isn’t a priority unfortunately. This really upset my mum today after waiting so long, her money taken and then to be told to just close them the other way when she was clearly dissatisfied. Had considered using this company for my blinds. After this there’s no chance. Lesson learnt. My advice, go elsewhere.

Absolutely fantastic company, so very very pleased with the perfect fit blinds we ordered through Durham Blinds. 5 star service throughout, advice given was spot on and were fair enough to suggest the best (and most economic) solution to our requirements. From coming out to quote/ offering advice when choosing, being flexible on timings to fit around other work being done, to the fitting and finish - every step of the way has been great with this company. Had Andrew come measure up and quote, really good price and could tell we were in safe hands, genuine nice bloke who didn't try pushing for more expensive products etc. Quality of the blinds were 10/10. Had Liam come fit them, was done quickly and really professionally and the tidiest trades man ever, hardly anything to hoover up! Highly recommended!
