The York Hearing Practice

Went for a hearing check, got some amazing little hearing aids to trays my test wasn't conclusive. Tried them and decided that at this stage I don't need hearing aids. Returned them to Robert , no charge where else can you find someone that will give you a £3.500 object to try for as long as you need and not charge you anything. Can't recommend this practice highly enough if you need a test.Margaret

Excellent! I had the microsuction to remove ear wax. It only took a few minutes and is so much better and more comfortable than syringing.The staff at York Hearing Practice are genuinely really lovely and very friendly. I can't fault them.

I am absolutely delighted with my new hearing aids from Rob. His great care, attention to detail and outstanding service have all greatly impressed me and I now, at last, have a set of hearing aids that are comfortable, easy to use and above all allow me to hear properly. My wife is as pleased as I am! Not only that, the aids were considerably less expensive than my previous ones which I found most unsatisfactory. Rob is without question the man to see if you need the best hearing aids and the best service.

I recently visited York Hearing Practice for an appointment for ear wax removal prior to a hearing test. Approaching my eightieth birthday i have notice some loss of clarity in certain situations in my hearing. I was also conscious that I wanted advice from a company of integrity and ethics rather than a hearing aid sales outlet. I researched reviews and chose York hearing Practice. It was the best decision, I was treated with courtesy, clarity and common sense, my consultation was thorough and the advice first class. I have no hesitation in recommending this practice wholeheartedly.

Had problems with ear wax. I would have had to wait up to six months had I gone the normal no paying route. Rang up and got the next available appointment arrived a bit early on the day and was taken in straight away. I had microsuction which removed the was with ease. I departed before I should have been taken in. Can't say better than that.I found the staff very pleasant and professional.Would certainly recommend and I have no doubt I will have to go back.

I have used York Hearing Practice on several occasions for the removal of ear wax and I really can’t fault the service. You are always greeted with a smile and they are all extremely helpful and professional giving you any advice that you need! This method of ear wax removal is so much better than syringing! I have just returned from a consultation with Gavin. Having had issues in the past with my ears after long haul flights I thought I would look at having my earwax removed. I was welcomed into a nice relaxed atmosphere and Gavin explained that there was no need for wax removal but has given me some recommendations going forward. Nice to see some good old fashioned quality service, I could have been charged for the procedure and been no wiser instead I was charged a nominal consultation fee. Highly recommended !!

I came across an advert for Rob's Hearing Clinic in York after becoming disillusioned with the quality of my hearing with the supplied hearing aids from another clinic, everything had sounded Dull. Very quickly into the appointment Rob put me at ease and it showed that he is a very knowledgeable Audiologist. Within a couple of minutes he had adjusted the tones on the good quality Hearing aids that I have and has almost eliminated the near constant feedback I have suffered with them for the past year. I can already notice an improvement in my hearing and feel like Rob has got the best out of my Oticon Hearing aids. I can thoroughly recommend a visit to one of Rob's Hearing Aid Centres.

A great service with lovely staff.Gavin treats your precious ears with great care. I've had rough, unprofessional treatment at an unconnected York practice which made me look elsewhere.Just been back for a 6 month review and micro suction. Again, just lovely service as you should expect, but don't always receive in this day and age from other practitioners.

Friendly staff, efficiently and safely run premises. The whole procedure was quick but very careful, clearly explained and extremely effective. I'm delighted to be able to hear properly once more. The micro suction of earwax was far less unpleasant than the old irrigation way, and the the gentleman who did it was very professional yet approachable.
