I don’t often write reviews but after reading some horrid reviews about this bridal shop after I’d visited Yesterday Friday 3rd February I felt I just had to tell of my experience and how I was treated.I was met at the door by a lovely smiley lady who escorted me and my friend upstairs to their bridal department.As an older bride I had no idea what I wanted and what the expectation of a dress for an older bride is and acceptable so I was very nervous to say the least.There were three ladies in all assisting me and I can honestly say they couldn’t have be more helpful and friendly.A young bride came in with her mother while I was there and they were so helpful to that young lady too.I sort of felt one of the ladies might have wanted to throttle me but I’d have felt the same if I’d been dealing with me. I would definitely recommend this bridal store to any bride young or older.Maybe the people who’d had a bad experience were met with one of the ladies having a bad day, I know I have them.

Fantastic service, lovely staff. Ellie and Juliet were fabulous.I called in with no appt booked and they were so obliging.I was allowed to try on a dress and was extremely nervous but they soon made me feel so good and calm.I had an idea of what I wanted and they showed me a dress, let me try it and made some very helpful suggestions.Arranging my 1st follow up appt was easy and I left the shop feeling happy and relaxed.Thank you to all involved.

After reading the terrible reviews I thought I'd give these ladies the benefit of the doubt and try on a few frocks - lady was lovely on the phone! Well... me and my mum went to my appt and could our lady have been any less accommodating of she tried!! Christ she was the unhappiest person ever she didn't really listen to what I liked, I had to ask if I could have a look at dresses her attitude was awful!! I felt so on edge! The owner then came up who was at least much friendlier but nobody introduced themselves I felt really on edge - dresses are a lovely quality though in fairness and v reasonable price but I'd rather spend double and have a great bridal experience!

The ladies at Brides of Bond Street were brilliant. My dress was absolutely perfect and the service was great. I was made to feel so comfortable at every fitting and they created a stunning dress for me. I couldn’t have asked for more.Photos courtesy of Aaron Collett Photography

Visited this shop twice now and that has definitely been more than enough for me. The first time I went was when I was looking for a wedding dress for myself, the customer service I received was awful and the two women running the shop were so rude and arrogant. The dresses weren’t to my style which is fine, everyone has different tastes etc. and I gave the ladies the benefit of the doubt as I know we can all have bad days sometimes. However, a couple months later I optimistically went back to have a look for some bridesmaid dresses and received the same treatment, if not worse. I explained my situation that we had already spent a lot of money on dresses for our bridesmaids which we ordered online that ended up being too small and are non returnable, so I asked what sort of price ranges they had and got a snappy response that the dresses are a set price, implying that I was trying to ask for a discount? She also said that I “learnt my lesson” after I told her about the previous bridesmaid dresses we bought which felt like I was being told off for spending money elsewhere?? By far the worst experience I’ve ever had while dress shopping.

One star because I liked my dress.Going to that shop was the big low point of my whole wedding experience. The staff and atmosphere was awful, if you want to feel totally unspecial on the run up to your big day then pay these women a visit!

I seldom share reviews, but I believe it's essential to provide an honest account of my experience, encompassing both the positive and negative aspects. As a size 16 bride-to-be accompanied by my mother and maid of honor, I had certain expectations when I arrived at the store.Firstly, I understand that the day was hectic, the staff seemed busy, and we had budget constraints. Additionally, my mother had a positive experience at this establishment in the past, which influenced our decision to visit. However, I encountered several issues during my visit, which I feel compelled to share:1. Upon our arrival for our 3:30 pm appointment, we were not greeted or introduced to any staff members. We felt awkward standing in the open doorway, and it was necessary for us to remind them about our appointment. We also had to leave to finish our drinks before we could enter. As an autistic woman, the unwelcoming environment was particularly challenging for me.2. The staff seemed more enthusiastic and engaged with another customer who was trying on prom dresses. While I appreciate their attention to other patrons, I felt that I received minimal positive engagement throughout my visit.3. After our appointment, as a bridal group, we collectively felt that the customer service fell short of our expectations. While I understand that everyone can have off days, the staff member assigned to assist us appeared disinterested and exhibited a consistently grumpy" demeanor. It felt as though any questions we had were regarded as annoyances

I was really excited about working with these ladies after seeing them at the Wedding Show at the NEC in Bham and having “made in England” dresses and being from Leicestershire myself, but such a disappointing experience.Have a really “can’t really be bothered attitude”. Everything felt like an effort. Not at any point did it feel like the special experience that it should have felt being a first time bride.I feel the ladies were unaccommodating, dated and old fashioned in their approach.Their shop feels the same and very tired.I since have lost weight and chosen a different dress from somewhere else and the experience was like night and day.If you want to feel special, looked after and valued; I’d go elsewhere.

As an older bride I was really nervous to go wedding dress shopping but the ladies in this shop have been nothing but kind and have given me a lovely experience. They have made a bespoke dress for me which fits amazing and only needs an inch taking off the length from my initial measurements now I have the right shoes. They are also making a dress for my daughter and have made her feel like a princess too. I could not speak more highly of them. Thank you so much

Last week myself and my head bridesmaid went in for a appointment which they had completely forgotten about when we had made this appointment 2 to 3 weeks in advance. After this they didn't let us try any dresses on and just generally couldn't be bothered to help us in any way shape or form. As myself and my bridesmaid are in our early 20s it genuinely felt like we weren't worth their time and we couldn't bring enough business in. We were just left to look through the rails without any sort guidance we couldn't find what kind of styles suited us and was told it was alot of work to put these dresses on and just made is feel like we weren't welcome. As it was all a rush I made another appointment but on reflection I will not be returning. Poor service and general poor attitude really let down.
