Great set of allotment plots, and some really nice plot owners who welcome you with open arms and are really friendly. Great community.Management team of these plots however have gone downhill drastically. As a plot owner you’ll receive passive aggressive letters through your door and newsletters from management, including formal notices out of nowhere. Even if you’ve made great progress, they won’t necessarily see it that way due to the impeccable standards they expect. They assume everyone is retired with 100% of time to spend on the allotment, and don’t appreciate some people have different lives with work, raising children and sorting other short-term higher priorities such as dealing with illness. So progress may arrive at a different pace, but progress nevertheless.If you’re thinking of getting a plot here, and hoping it’ll be a fun hobby and support your mental health please be cautious- this is not something the management team are aligned with. It may even damage your mental health by adding to your other stresses.m just through the way they manage it.Make sure you understand the expectations and getting to know the management you’ll be working with before going on this journey. For us, we strongly don’t recommend.
