We use this as a walk in, no book venue when staying at a nearby hotel after visiting family, and don't have a timeline for eating. While prices are always very competitive, it is erratic in other standards. The staff are good but, on this occasion, there were not enough of them and we had to wait a while for our order to be taken, although our food then came quickly. The quality of the food varies, and this time it was underwhelming - chips and a baked potato that had clearly been hanging around and reheated. There was also an error with our order.

Definitely needs a spruce up, feels old and outdated but it's a typical spoons, cheap enjoyable food with adequate service for price.Open the top floor, it's the only selling point of this spoons over any others in the local area, keeping it closed is the dumbest thing for this branch.

Enjoyed a late lunch here as a group of 8. Food was served well, was tasty and good value. Service was good. This is a very big establishment, and quite noisy so not ideal for a quiet meal for two etc. There is some outside seating at the front, which is a nice spot to watch the hustle and bustle if the quayside.

Food was awful. Love spoins usually. Bit this was the worst one I've visited. Lovely location tho. Nice building. And drinks cheap. Nice staff too.

Very busy but we use the app a lot and the service seems much quicker. We've been there on many occasions when we visit Poole quay on our holidays. A lovely area and a great pub.
