St Anthony of Padua RC Church

A Roman Catholic church built in the 1930s. The interior is impressive and intricately painted, featuring a large frieze behind the altar.

Love this church mass was lovely

Had a shocking experience here. Turned away from mass. Heckled by stewards as my son lay crying because we were being turned away. I was repeatedly told that this church wasn’t for “people like me.” Not sure what that meant. Horrible experience. I hope the bishop learns how this parish treats its visitors. They reluctantly let us in to mass but I was told “all eyes would be on me” and I “was not a catholic” and to “go away as this church wasn’t for me.”
