I have been in several times and on every occasion they have been brilliant. Colour matching for some internal paints, advice and mixing for our front door (prep is important but a great finish) that looks superb. They also have a range of the bits and pieces needed for DIY, screws and hardware and all sorts of other stuff. I did not know I needed (but now will never be without!) a roll of plastic sheeting with a peel off sticky strip. So quick to put up and brilliant protection. Staff are friendly and helpful. My first stop for anything to do with DIY and decorating.

Fantastic shop. Great range of products (dulux, Johnstone’s,farrow and ball etc) and everything you need for decorating. Really helpful and friendly with advice after our painter left us in the lurch.

These guys are brilliant. They really made every effort possible to help me try and match the finish my maple wood door surrounds had been given 18 years ago! Nothing was too much effort - they even rang one of the major wood company for advice. I was never made to feel stupid about asking questions. I will b e sing them a great deal going forward. It's a really first class service.

Easily the best place in town for supplies and most importantly advice. Polite, approachable and knowledgeable staff who take the time to understand what finish you want to achieve and how best to go about achieving it. Competitive prices to boot, can’t recommend them enough.

Knowledgeable, friendly and great customer service. The guys were happy to spend time explaining what I’d need, provide help and advice with colour choices and colour match for me. You don’t get that in B&Q! My daughter is very happy with her room and I’m really happy with the finish. I highly recommend Decorators Mate and will be using them again.
