I've gone to see Karolina four times now, and each time my wax has been absolutely wonderful. The experience with Karolina is very different from going to other places around Oxford as other salons tend to be generalist beauty salons that offer many services like nail polish, threading, etc. I have been waxed from the neck-down for many years, and I'm generally very skeptical of being waxed in beauty/nail salons as I've had some hair-removal horror stories in them.Karolina specializes in waxing and facials-- and it shows!Karolina uses a high quality hardwax (no cloth strips) that is extremely gentle on my skin and she is truly a wax specialist in application/removal-- I found the process less painful than some of my previous wax experiences and is almost reminiscent of sugaring. The combination of her tools and technique give an incredible result that has lasted about 2 weeks longer than my waxes elsewhere. I cannot recommend her enough!

Karolina has created something very special at SkinDose. The spa room is welcoming and CLEAN! You immediately feel your body relax as Karolina walks you through your treatment. Her confidence in her craft is reassuring and well deserved. I had a Hollywood wax after a 5 month hiatus and I was dreading it but she was quick and efficient. She walked me through it and helped reduce my anxiety which allowed her to work quickly and reduce my pain. She is also a great conversationalist on many topics and the appointment always goes so quick as we chat. It never feels forced as well which I appreciate.
