Ripples Waterlife

We went into ripples looking for a whole set up and we have very little knowledge on what we need. we had a lady called molly help us and a lad that was with her but didn’t catch his name to get all of the things we would need for a fishtank we chose in store. She was very knowledgeable and nothing was too much for her and no question felt stupid. They both were really happy to help in anyway and the customer service was brilliant. Overall we had a fab experience and we will definitely be coming back to get some fish for our new tank, Thankyou guys.

Lovely place, great selection and the tropical fish room is immense. Carries a large range of stock and the staff are always happy to help. May not suit those looking for marine care/ help but I'm sure they're educated in that as wll

A little bit on the expensive side but the fish are kept in excellent conditions and always look healthy.Staff very knowledgeableUPDATE; I have to take back all the above previous comments. I purchased a male dwarf gourami from here as a companion for my other HEALTHY dwarf gourami which was over 18mths old. Within 5 days of introduction to the tank my original gourami started exhibiting signs of illness - similar to swim bladder issues, sadly a couple of days later she died. Within Another 2 days the new gourami met the same fate (see pic).On phoning Ripple's staff they came out with the is your water ok" response. I have kept tropical fish for 7 years now and pride myself on keeping happy

popped to ripples at Shenstone today to get our water tested from our tank . We were assisted by Mollie who was very knowledgeable and helpful . We took her expert advise and purchased 3 fish and other things for our tank . We shall certainly be returning to purchase more fish . A great store with friendly staff.

Been coming to ripples for a number of years now, the tanks and the store itself is always spotless! The aquascaping in some of there tanks are beautiful and the customer service here is amazing and really consider your needs and requirements and have a wide range of knowledge of different fish species. And a BIG thank you to Andy as well, so helpful and goes out of his way at to ensure customers are taken care off. Would definitely recommend this aquatics for anyone who keeps fishes or has a pond in the garden. 10/10!!

As someone who has just restarted tropical fish keeping hobby after several years break, Ripples has been excellent - in terms of the range of aquariums, equipment, plants and fish and impartial advice. A broad range of everything you need. Would definitely recommend

Very helpful staff and have plenty of information regarding a first time fish tank buyer, got plenty of information regarding what type of fish we would like and the care instructions for the tank. We have the information now we just have to decide on the tank and decorations.

Mixed thoughts on this place. They do have a fantastic stock of fish and accessories. However I recently bought 3 Dwarf Gouramis along with some other stock for my 350 litre tank. Everything was fine except the gouramis who were all dead within a week. Called them up and was told that they only offer a 48 hour guarantee on fish and it must be a problem with my tank. Tank has been running 2 years. 350l with 2xFX6 filters on reduced flow. Test was perfect as can be seen in the photo. Bit disappointed to be honest. Never lost a fish in this tank and all 3 dying is apparently down to my tank. That's just blaming the customer for bad stock IMHO. Will stick to Maidenhead Aquatics from now on for fish.
